Good read for Nigerian politicians and business men in cutthroat industries. The book has an evil aura and the author doesn't look like someone who practise his laws. grin

When you try so hard to protect your rep, trust me it gets affected

Just be good and be the same person in public and when none is watching for even in your home, some one is watching .a lot o times when you hear things is from those closest to you..so be good have a standard character not one for public and another for home

7. Get others to do the work for you, but always take the credit.

Use the wisdom, knowledge, and legwork of other people to further your own cause. Not only will such assistance save you valuable time and energy, it will give you a godlike aura of efficiency and speed. In the end your helpers will be forgotten and you will be remembered. Never do yourself what others can do for you.

I have all his books. Have you read, Art of Seduction and 50th law?

Yes I have. However I feel 50th law is just a glorified version of the 48 laws. Nothing beats the latter because it's is a masterpiece. It's like trying to compare one of fela's seminal songs to a modern day remix or remake

The art of seduction on the other hand is meant for people who are still tangled in this illusion called love and me I have gone past that phase in my life

Remember never have friends only business interests....my own addition to the laws

Mandela was called a terrorist by the West because, he wasn't doing their biddings few years before he left prison, he succumbed to the west. Mandela only got political freedom for his people not economy freedom, that is why the west later glorified him during his life time.

Why do most people pick the first law as their favorite? Is this so they don't have to compete with the best(master) and continue to live or work in mediocrity? I would definitely want to outshine a master/ competitor, why should I be satisfied with second best?

Acquiring power is like a game of chess you never put your best foot forward unless the timing is right.

Also you have to learn under the tutelage of someone and if you give the impression that you immediate plan is to outdo the person you will be shown the door before even starting

I suspect that you have not real the book if so please read and digest the history examples and interpretations to real life situations.

Every of the 48 Laws has an antidote so instead of wailing on social media why don't you spread the book across Kogi State so that everyone will be immune??

azimibraun:
The Bible, the Quran, the constitution of the federal republic doesn't mean a thing to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state. It is known fact that him and his chief of staff only applies what the get from this book to rule the Kogi people. 48laws of Governor Bello.

If you don't know how to do both then you should read those 2 laws again slowly.

koolaid87:
It tells you not outshine ur master, and at the same time tell you not to appear dumb

In the end, it’s just a paradox

I hate that particular one, it doeant go down well with me at alI. I Feel it is Cheating. How do you take credit for someone else's work just because they are your subordinate? At least acknowledge their role in whatever it is they did.

The laws of power are the laws of life itself And life, is NOT "Fair" my friend.

You can get it online for free

correctguy101:
I like the book and all laws are acceptable if you take the Reversals to mind.

It's just a book that will make you trust less and help you curb the illusion of love.

Very few people love truly. The rest want something. Some is to feel self gratified, some others is to create smoke screens (impression of being kind-hearted).

You can't review that book in a million words. It's just too broad.

Read the book and will still read it if not that a friend that barely reads stole it (goes to show how persuasive that book is) grin

All in all, I still feel the book will make you want to model yourself to some of it's laws but if you're foolish enough, you wouldn't take the Reversals to heart and that will be your undoing.

In life, in every situation, as a human, a sensible person, Know what you want and make sure after all the chit chats and mumbo-jumbo you leave each situation with what you want else,, make I no talk.... wink

Spot on. But Unfortunately not everyone was made to be able to Comprehend the Game of power, No matter how hard you make them try to.
