Senate swears in Umeh as Anambra-Central senator

The Nigerian Senate has sworn in Chief Victor Umeh of the All Progressives Grand Alliance as the member representing Anambra Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber.

The swearing-in, which was supervised by the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, began at 10:50 am and lasted 10 minutes.

Umeh was accompanied by his wife and a host of loyal supporters who filled the chamber’s gallery and the Press Centre.

Senator Umeh becomes the only APGA Senator in the present Senate and the first Senator of the party from Anambra State.

Congratulations to the People's Senator... Ohamadike ndi Igbo!

BEFORE THE END OF 2018, APGA MAY HAVE THE OTHER TWO SENATORS FROM THE STATE, THEREBY MAKING ANAMBRA STATE A FULL APGA STATE, BECAUSE MOST POLITICIANS ARE ONLY LOYAL TO WHERE THEY CAN SURVIVE.

I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED THAT NO ONE PARTY CONTROLS ALL THE LOCAL, STATE, REPS, SENATE SEATS IN ANY STATE

I DO NOT LIKE SUCH, BUT THAT MAY TURN OUT TO BE THE REALITY OF ANAMBRA POLITICS.

I SALUTE CHIEF UMEH & APGA FOR THEIR VICTORY, let's HOPE THEY DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISES
