I recently got a Job renewal which my salary was changed from 25k to 50k


When I was earning 25k I still borrow a little money b4 d month ends but I guess it should have been enough for me but due to Misappropriation I spend any how.

I am not very good in saving money but I want to start dis year and with my January salary..

Please how much can I save out 50k salary in each month.

I want to know if I can open a saloon and laundry biz this year.

Save everything extra and if need be you can borrow from the extra saved

it depends.if u stay alone,pay ur rents n feed ur self,bro i dnt knw wat u wanna save der oooo but if u stil wit someone atleast 10k is ok a month

when u see him you would think he is earning 200k plus small small side biz that help

Your question is relative,taking into cognaissance factors such as cost of transport, cost of food items in your local market and your lifestyle generally. Someone resident in the North can save up to 25k a month and I belief you can do same(infact,it should be alot easier since your earlier take-home package was 25k) Restrict your expenditure to 25k per month and save up tje rest.

You can save 20k monthly, there is a plan in aiico insurance called corporate savings, you can start that and save monthly for a year.

Saving from salary is very tricky. If you spend 25k and save another 25k every month. And a colleague who earns 75k saves 50k after spending same 25k you spend get to earn 66% what your colleague earns but save 50% what he saves.

If he earns 100k then you only save 33% of what he saves.

It depends on where you stay, if you stay in a place like Lagos or port Harcourt where rent is high, it can be really difficult cos you need to save for rent as well. But if you stay in a rent free accommodation, you can start saving 20k every month.

open a fixed deposit account that can run for two years so that you won't be tempted to touch it; then save 50% of what you are earning.after 2years the money will be up to something to start another business with gain on top.

ok na..that means you will support your own family(paternal family) with your money if that's the case..while I will take care of you and the children..

Determine a percentage of your salary that is suitable for u to save and keep to it. I'll advise 20% being 10k.
Assume ur salary is now 40k and work with that. You have to be disciplined and move out the 10k to an acct u have no chq book or cards on, once salary is received.
