Hello all! ... I am a graduate of civil engineering and lately, I have developed this knack for IT. Actually I am the site/field operation kind of guy and that prompted my choice of IT Career path, which is networking. Now my problem is this;

Firstly, I want to train for ccna certification but the training and the certification exams cost are quite expensive, mind you, I have a poor background in IT therefore, I'll need a good hand on networking/practical training.

Secondly, due to the financial constraint I mentioned above, I decided to settle for an equivalent Microsoft certification(heard MS exams are less difficult and the cost of their certification exams is quite cheap compared to the Cisco counterpart).

My questions are,

1. Which Microsoft certification(networking) equates to a ccna certification.

2. Are the ccna certification exams truly more expensive than the Microsoft's

3. Where and how can I really get a good practical training in networking assuming I don't want to attend these computer institutes.

Hi Sir, to answer your questions, I will say;

1) MCSA equals CCNA. (CCNA deals with Routers, Switches, etc, while MCSA deals with servers.) You can check up more on it.

2) Microsoft exams are cheaper than Cisco exams.

3) I will research on that and get back to you. Getting a good networking school is a big time hassle. Just subscribe to my blog and get those info delivered straight to you.
