For you to have this done all 6 igntioin coils must be removed. Be sure you are working on a double vanos engine. If not you might be purchasing a single vanos valve cover seal

Valve cover finally removed. Valve cover seal badly worned out. Super Mega clean engine . 103% free of sludge.when I inquired to know what engine oil owner had been using. She uses total quartz 5000 (5w30) fully synthetic engine oil

well u see, there was this one time after work, we were set to go home and then we decided to hang out a Lil before retiring. so we got into out vehicles, some non mobile staff had issues choosing vehicles from the fleet of cars available so most of them chose me cos I was certain I'll get there first...... I'm always first.

OK see now, I drove a 03 Camry and my colleague was also my neighbour; a bmw, can't still remember the model but it had a v8 engine installed. we took off and I was feeling fly, heavily footing the gas pedal and what I saw was ..... phew..... I mean I saw the sound of the BMW passing me like a stationary pole. it felt so bad, I had disappointed everyone in the car..... I've been looking for someone to report this car to, until I came across this thread.

I think it was a 1999 e39 m5, u need to hear that beast roar, kai so intimidating.

The following fault errors where pulled out from the DME of the BMW x3.

You need to run a scan to ascertain what has made the light stay illuminated

Pulling out of old valve cover seal. Old one severely worned out and was difficult taking out. As a result of age and heat as a factor the seal had turned into a plastic

Brand new valve cover seal purchased already and ready to install. Also fitting of the new seal into the valve cover

Valve cover finally installed back. This ride has an engine performance issue, idles rough, hard starts as well. With the above fault errors. We would be changing the speed reference sensor. To have this changed the inlet manifold plenum needs to be removed. BMW I hail

Inlet manifold plenum out to access speed reference sensor. Real tasking to remove this I must say

Speed reference Sensor inspected and found to have a crack on it hence one of the reason for the fault error pulled from the DME. A brand new speed reference sensor bought and would be installed

It's a good ride can be in AWD or RWD. Online reviews are OK. Parts are pricey

All 6 spark plugs worned out badly. We shall be using Bosch super IV platinum spark plugs as a replacement
