adeniyisamuel59:Redmi 5 plus is not as big as many of us thought. The phone is few inches taller than rn4... They increased the screen to body ratio thereby maintaining almost the same size with rn4. If placed side by side with rn4 u will surely take the r5plus. Its sleek, very beautiful and can fit into the pocket perfectly. It has a good battery life almost at par with rn4. Waiting to port to global stable rom when it becomes available. |

vanchi:With TWRP you'll have to download the full Recovery ROM to update your device. But to update through OTA, you will have to flash REDWOLF RECOVERY on your device. REDWOLF is more advanced with better options than TWRP. Be sure to download REDWOLF 3.0.23... that's the most stable version for now. |

kstan:Yeah read on the official thread on Xda and telegram group that Redwolf 3.0.24 is not updating OTA. More reason why I held back from flashing custom recovery. I have root with stock recovery for now. |

guydangerous:the new 9.2.2.0 update fixed it... thanks |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by kstan(m): 4:08pm On Jan 25, 2018 |
scotweezy:Always make sure you have 1. A Global Stable/Global Developer FastBoot ROM 2. A Global Stable/Global Developer Full Recovery ROM All downloaded and kept safe somewhere else apart from your phone storage or SD card... You can save them in your PC. Reason is to always find it very easy to revert back to normalcy once anything goes wrong. REDWOLF 3.0 23 is the most stable with full support for OTA. I don't think I'm even going to update to any new version. |
