access? bros which channel be that, because I hv to recharge compact just to get ss3 o,
abeg fill me in. hw u take dey run ahm
Its probably an error from dstv but I've been getting ss3, 7 and 10 on access since November, I watch my favorite teams at home (unless if the match is shown on ss5 which is rare unless maybe when they are playing more than 1 star match at the same time) on access. Though I have made sure I pay before my sub expires since this started.

DSTV has probably bribe government officials to clamp on then. Corruption stinks in this dispensation.
SMH for you. Was it DSTV that bribed government to make HiTV crash? In cable TV, content is the name of the game. All competitors to DSTV lack content and have to resort to illegal means to get the necessary content for the audience (e.g TSTV streaming of stations that are not supposed to be available in Nigeria). If you want to compete with DSTV, then be ready to develop content that people want to watch. Say what you want about all the BB Naija distraction, lots of people would subscribe their DSTV just because of that content. Content, not government policy or anything, has been responsible for Multichoice's success.

Leave them, it's a typical naija mentality to blame someone else for their own failure. Hitv had no contents and yet they ran and paid the license for english premiership just to get subscribers. It worked the 1st 2 yrs but what happened after the football season was over, tv became too boring, majority of people that had hitv still subscribed to dstv because of better content so DStv was still selling even WITHOUT football. Then hitv mismanaged their money, they couldn't pay back bank loan and were not able to get another loan from gtbank to get another EPL license, DStv got it back without even having to fight. How is that the fault of DStv, but trust ignorant Nigerians, they will keep blaming DStv. How can someone blame dstv for the failure of tstv when we all know they built their popularity on lies. I'm still trying to figure out how a pay tv can broadcast all live football plus 20gb of 4g internet for 3k. It's obvious that it's almost impossible but the lies helped them get the popularity they seek and people can blame DStv for their failure.

Even without football, DStv still has more content than every other pay tv available in nigeria. And by content I don't mean all those free to air contents available on tstv that some people are bragging about.
