And one other thing, is the TWRP you booted/installed the latest and confirmed official for Mido?

When I did mine, the first boot took forever, all I did was to press down the power button and it booted up fine afterwards.

No bro. I didn't tick allow TWRP make modifications. After the reboot, i waited for some minutes and when it wasn't coming up I pressed the power button down only for the mi logo to briefly come up and disappear . That has been the story since morning.

The TWRP I installed was the latest too

Its on there first page,
Enter youtube,search redmi 5 plus review,u wud see many videos and hands on reviews.

But if u ask me,the phone is very perfect for the price i got it*

For the 4G, your phone only supports band 7, which is one of mtn's LTE bands, the other being band 20. You can try another mtn 4g sim, or move to another location

Go to security app and enable it in autostart setting. Then lock the app in memory

Its a midrange phone,expect almpst the same performance like d note 4x,
As for redmi note 5,nobody knows boss

Hello guy, pls help, I received my mi max 2 today, I must confess, the device is gigantic & beautiful but I'm having an issue with it, some apps keeps crashing eg Gmail, opera mini, ucweb mini, contacts & dailer etc They keep crashing when I open them. Pls wat do I do?

Update your phone,do a factory reset and ensure all ur apps comes from google play store,not side loading apk

Use scotweezy's tutorial and u wont worry about the harms of root or custom recovery, u phone will remain thesame as a new one and u can do ota update with ease but with gcam

About thr pictures i only have my own picture and i no wan put am here

My phone has been going off since yesterday, it has happened 3 times now, what could likely be the issue??

I usually switch to airplane mode whenever I watch movies, after the movie, when I switch back, if I open any app, it force closes, and then my phone reboots.. Then everything works fine again.. This started yesterday and it has happened three times...

Funny thing about the Antutu Benchmark scores of both. I'm slightly happier that i went with the Note 4X. I think the 4x has stood the test of time tbh or maybe because the upgrade after 1 year isn't significant enough to upgrade. You should definitely get the 5 plus since infinity displays are very in now.

The advisable thing would have been not to restore anything from the backed up data in order to avoid carrying over the cause of the problem. If it is mandatory to restore some, make sure you're selective and be mindful of the most recent apps installed
