It is a pity that these people have to die this way. They knew the consequences of their actions yet they embarked on it. Too bad!! Part of that report said they wanted to come home and serve their prison terms or be executed at home and receive decent burial. Who told them that the dead knows how their burial is handled, decent or indecent! |

Nigeria is a jungle. In a jungle it is survival of the fittest, no one cares for the other. Infact, the strong prey on the weak. It is this same prevalent jungle attitude that make our people dare to carry drugs to country with death penalty; man they will tell you must survive, others will say something must kill a man - if our government has refused to take care of you, then help yourself, put your destiny in your hand. They damn the consequence, but when face with death, they cry for help. What they don't know is that in a jungle no one comes to help an animal caught in a trap and in a danger of dying, only God's grace can help in such cases. If they find themselves facing death, with no help coming from the government, they should turn their gaze to God. Even if he won't safe them from physical death, he will be willing to welcome them to his abode in heaven and safe them from spiritual death. |

To those people shouting tribalism, there is no tribalism here. It is a known fact that more than 95% of the Nigerians busted for drug trafficking worldwide are igbo. Statistically speaking, its even higher. Indonesia, Thailand, India, Vietnam, China, Australia, Singapore and South Africa, all have millions of Nigerians of Igbo extraction in their prisons. There is no tribalism in pointing out these obvious facts. Igbos are well known criminals worldwide. Fact!!! |
