Rohr just need to give all our keepers chance to prove themselves,on Ajiboye am not surprised with his performance cos have been saying it that Ajiboye and Uzoho I watched against Guinea and Girona respectively are better than Ezenwa and Akpeyi.
uzoho, ajiboye should.be the first 2 goalie to make the Russia trip...

hope ajiboye prove better against Morocco in the final...that will ignite rohr's heart.

I fear alloy agu....sha

Ajiboye was great tonight but Rohr will not take him to the world Cup because of one factor. Height.

He is obviously better than Ezenwa but Ezenwa also impressed in the last game. I no go lie.

Bring them to camp, screen and select the best three. May the best guard the post. I have no doubt that Ajiboye, Alampasu and Uzoho are the best three.

A very warm congratulations to Nigeria, victory is sweet. The success of this Chan team underlines the fact that Nigeria is indeed the powerhouse of African football. Even in the face of poor infrastructure at home, lack of organization and shoddy preparation, yet we could raise a team D which will play for the African crown, beating the full national teams of Libya, Sudan, Angola, Guinea and Rwanda on the way .
For a league that loose her better players every other month, this is a feat worthy of celebration.
If only we can get things right at home, Nigeria could be in the class of Brazil and France. Why not?

rohr need to stay far away from that man..I think he is a bad influence on his career...

a coach that can hide such a good goal keeper from being noticed...while we all are crying and searching for a good goal keeper to replace Vincent and ikeme.
agu went to hide him from shining.....

I don't know is mission but I am very scared of him henceforth.

He might av a secret deal with ezenwa anyway, maybe having a pay cut from his allowance from every match played, I no sure o, grin

Even Alampasu should be given chance cos Ajiboye displayed today really exposed Alloy Agu.

It has been long I see any Nigerian keepers making those saves especially that first half save.

Hope Ezenwa injury is not much wish him quick recovery.

I am very happy about today's match.

Why? One might ask

I argued with someone on this thread who opined that God's favor was behind Ezenwa's continual inclusion into the starting eleven.

Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing personal against him. But I know that God is a fair judge and will favor the most hardworking and talented. we can now see that the main driving force behind Ezenwa was pure sentiments

I am very happy for the chance given Ajiboye. Hopefully, Rohr took notice. Now onto greater things for Ajiboye. I also hope Ezenwa recovers soonest from his injury.

The competition for the goalkeeping department just got better and fiercer.

May the best win!!!!!
We have not seen the best of him , I know him to be a penalty specialist . .... I could remember during the coach Tela Era of the Under 17 World Cup ... he made 3 or 4 saves followed by antecedents of all other saves at this maturity stage . He is good , we don’t need too many matches to take note of this .

I keep pointing out how we are the authors of our misfortune. After such heroics in the U17, we owed ourselves the duty of helping Ajiboye grow but we did not. This was a young man who was rated above David De Gea in the U17 World Cup.

We need to do more to support our potential talents. The Euro will not do all for us.

We need to kick of a team B Super Eagles after the World Cup, made of young promising talents, both home based and foreign based. Let them play friendlies during international break and those who show more promise than those in the senior team given a chance to prove themselves.

I think it begins with improving d standards of our local league through a solid developmental stucture. Players will develop beta and will move abroad not just for d money bt to teams dat dey are sure will advance dia careers.....the competition for places will be stiffer and dis will impact positively on our national team. The poor state of our league is wat av given rise to d huge gap between local n foreign based players as we used to av players from our local leagues work straight into the national team in d 90's!

The FA may not necessarily take responsibility to develop individual players but dey just av to provide d enabling environment to allow all budding talents to thrive. This is a beta approach dan setting up a Team B as it will be more lasting and benefit every special talent!

The coaches also av to be encouraged to shun nepotism in dia selection process as dis is one big cog in d wheel of development of players in our league....too much sentiment is involved in selection of players in our league.

Hope this Ajiboye starts our last match.. Ezenwa should respect himself and not behave like Orji who's not fit but still lied about his fitness to play today.

Ifeanyi ifeanyi is brainless.... With a yellow card you still went for such tackle? Haba!

CHAN eligibility policy should be modified to to allow at most 3 players playing outside the domestic league as long as the players have not featured for country’s main team.

Also players who play in other leagues in Africa should be eligible.

Wishing Ezenwa quick recovery.

I'll have to wait till the Final to assess Ajiboy before I pass my verdict on him.

see we are always quick to blame the system, ok so how were we supposed to develop Ajiboye that we did not? He has been playing for local teams for a long time, are you trying to say that he should have been invited to the SE's camp since? In place of who? Enyeama back then? Ejide or who exactly?

My simple point here is that there are some positions in football that are not favourable for black people. You see GK and to a lesser extent the CBs, any average white boy can be developed into, atleast, a sound option in those positions and it makes it difficult for black people to get in there except you are exceptional and that is the case with Ajiboye. Now he has gotten his chance, but the problem is his age, ain't nobody who is going to sign a 29year old Gk to come and start grooming him again so I doubt he is going anywhere anytime soon. However, going to the world cup, he is the best bet we have after Enyeama, way way ahead of Uzoho, I have said that time and again

these things happen even to the best players. I remember there was a time CR7 was on a yellow and he still jumped and scored with his hands and he was sent off, does that make him brainless? We need to cut these guys some slack, it happens and it happened so let's move on

Except it is within Africa. Few European clubs will want to release players in the middle of the season.

I have said it before. Argentina invited Manuel Iturbe to train with the Argentine team and even join them to the last World Cup because he was a promising talent.

When there is a true special talent, we must take conscious steps to help the talent blow. Especially the exceptional ones.

We can not fold our arms crying the system is bad. Make something out of the bad situation.

That is why I keep calling for a team b training and playing friendly games during the break. Broadcasting it and giving the head coach a chance to study these lads.
