My LO is turning 6mnths n I want to introduce semi solids to his meal. Any suggestions plz? N do I make 1 of his meals in addition to breastfeeding? FTM so really have no idea wat I am to do

Mamas my boy is 5weeks old and can take 100mls of formula be hungry again in less than 2hrs. Was giving just BM but noticed it's never enough for him so had to introduce formula.
Atimes I feel like I'm overfeeding him but then again he finishes it and if you give him less he takes it and cries for more.
The little man is not even fat sef

Dec and Jan mamas that have introduced formula, what quantity does your LO take?

And how will I know when I start lactating well? Is it till my bwess start pouring milk when I'm not breast feeding?

Hello Hunniesuzie, so after booking with a health centre for Vitamin A, was at the Teaching Hospital where we do our immunizations. Took my mum for check, so decided to visit the immunization section. I meant another nurse to ask her about the Vitamin A, that my DH is so worried about it. Na so she come calmly tell me that the routine has changed. They give it along side Yellow Fever and measles at 9 months. So we are waiting for our nine months vaccine

I don't think you're overfeeding him i think he is having a growth sprut it happens at some point and sometimes he won't eat that much too I think it's normal.
N.B you can download baby center app it really help me as a first time mum and it will give you tips about somethings

My dear sametging with my lil man oh!!! He's just 3weeks +, he also finishes 90ml and can still suck bress for and additional 45mins... He woke up really hungry this afternoon, I put him to breast but he was just restless, mesef was tired so I decoded to give him 120ml and he finished d whole thing and pooed almost immediately...the good tin about the formula is that my LO sleeps for like 4-5hrs at a stretch once he takes it...but with BM he wakes up after 30mins or so...

Dunno if its because I have small bressts that's y he never gets satisfied with BM.. Iv been taking lots of water+ pap+hot tea that even burns my throat most tyns just to increase d flow but its still same.... Abeg sabi mamas what worked for u?

God help us cuz I really wanted to do EBF price of SMA no be small tin these days...

Lolzzz..mine didn't poo thru out yesterday..but he did better puppuuu for me today... His own food makes His tummy very round and shiny and full..but i feel he's adding weight..

Muna didn't eat pepper till like 2 months ago at 27 months. In fact when we were learning colors she yelled out color pepper from seeing a red flash card.
I do plain tomato chicken stew. Portioned in small plates for her only and kept in the freezer.
Gradually I started adding one rodo every week.


Other food options
Potatoes.
Spaghetti
Cooked oats
Pancakes
Yam
Beans


You can also add butter to these meals.



How did I finally make Muna eat pepper?
The gradual addition didn't work. Once the rodo got a bit much, she stopped taking the stew so I went gangster on her when she clocked 2, I chook peppered stew in her mouth randomly and refused to give her water. Till she learnt to just cope with it and now we're fine.

just got discharged from the hospital late yesterday evening.my kids were admitted in the hospital for a whole week.it was really tasking n frustrating seeing my lil gangs all dripped off.courtesy of severe stooling n vomiting.I pitied zino d most cus d influx of drips/injection on her were much.
