In fact, many believers regularly pray before they eat their meal, asking Yahweh to bless the food, and yet the food that many of these believers eat is actually killing them. If praying before you ate a meal did anything we'd expect to see believers suffering less of the ill effects of their diet compared to those who don't, yet this is clearly not the case.

also, there are actual scientific studies on prayer. Not one has ever shown any connection between prayer and real world outcomes. The only connection is that people who pray BELIEVE that their prayers are answered mostly because humans are designed to ignore all the facts that don't fit their beliefs. But the FACT is, we have studied prayer and it appears to have zero effect on anything. Unfortunately, every time some religious notion is disproven, religious people simply pivot to saying that Yahweh's plan is impossible to divine. AND YET, for some reason, the Bible commands us to pray which makes no sense AND has a scientifically proven lack of effect. People don't really believe in prayer. They know it's random. They are just scared of their mortality and can't accept that bad things happen for no reason. It's sad.

Finally, I've always said you would have the same success praying to a milk jug as you do praying to Yahweh -- the milk jug sometimes answers your prayer the way you want to, sometimes not and sometimes the answer is delayed. See the problem here? If things turn out the way you want them to, you say it was because you prayed. If not, it's because Yahweh knows what's best and you didn't pray for the right thing. Or, if it happens 10 years later you say Yahweh answered your prayer, it was just delayed. This is nonsense. You would have the exact same effect doing nothing.

The only prayer I prayer is Thanksgiving and worship....some Nigerians lazy who don't want to use their brains spend time asking God for what they can find online

Prayer works. It is the fault of Nigerian pastors who have blindly ruined the real doctrines of God. That KS why the Nigerian prayers doesn't reflect on our collective benefits.

The Bible says faith without work is dead. Do you know that millions of Nigerians hope to get rewarded without working but only praying? So who is deceiving them self here? If the Bible tells you to WORK before you can eat but you chose otherwise, you will only die of hunger and that is no fault of God.

The Nigerian pastors are the cause of this epidemic we have in Nigeria.

Look at Isreal, the decendants of Abraham, they are surrounded by Muslims but they don't kneel down to pray for God to safe them from their Muslim enemies, but they ACT! They attack their enemies IF provoked... But what do we have in Nigeria? People resort to prayer instead of doing both.

It is no fault of God when they are not even following his laid down principles.

Some will be hoping to get a job or miraculous "grace" as they put it.

God has no time to look at your face... He will bless whomever obeys his rule, no matter what you worship.

When God said go into the world an multiply, many Nigerians would interpret that to mean go into the world make only babies and that is why when you ask them how many Children they wanna have, the give numbers and then you say how are you gonna take care of the kids... You will Hear stupid monotonous reply "God will provide"

But countries that have decided to multiply what God has given the world are ahead of us... China is developing, exploring their God given potential even though they don't worship God. They are being realistic.

Some may argue that why would God bless China since they don't worship him. Here is the truth. When Government decree or enact a law, it is final (in saner climes though). If you obey the law, whether you are Christian or Muslim or atheist, it doesn't matter and you will be rewarded. If you disobey the law, you will be purnished as well. That is how God's rule works.

Nigerians are the cause of their own problems because they live in denial. God will not solve any problem that he knows you are cable of solving.that is why he gave you hands and brain in the first place.

I blive its bcoz prayers take time 2 manifest.. N we all av our endurance limits.. Most times ppl av 2 pray n pray continuously b4 their prayers are answered (which may take a very long time) .. N some don't even get answered.. An there is also d issue of praying amiss..
