[b]Who needs a police certificate?

Can you share a link to proof this please?

She was just joking.
Tomiccell:
Wow!! Congrats on the improved scores.
Please, when did you submit your EOR? Today makes mine exactly 10 weeks, so I've been anxious.

EOR takes between 10 - 12weeks. If it comes earlier, you are lucky

It's hard to get an upgrade for listening and reading because the scoring is not at the discretion of any examiner...

Sorry to bother you. What I mean is that am aware she can claim point for relative in canada if she is the Principal Applicant(PA) cos that's her biological sister but we are thinking of switching the principal applicant to me cos of my higher IELTS result. Been the In-law to her, can I still claim that same point? Pls help.

Will she accompany you to Canada? If yes, then you can claim the 15 points.

Thank you for the epistle, but read my post well.
As in, read it very welllll.
sunvick:

Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate.

You may need a police certificate from any country or territory that you have spent six months or more since the age of 18.

For example: if you visited, worked or lived in a country for two months, left for a few years, then returned for four months, that counts as spending six months there. In this case, you would need a certificate.

If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and:

are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.
have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory.

Bro if you have the means just try retake the test & aim LRSW 8777, cos your Listening and Reading score needs to at least L=8 & R=7. You can rarely get an upgrade for those two components but Speaking and Writing is subjective and the score can change during remark.

Amazing work y'all doing here. I found this thread at the perfect time and have decided on express entry application having realised my eligibility. My simple question is what's the least I should target for the CRS?

So, I'd have to submit bank draft at British Council. I thought everything can be done online with the info I found on IELTS site.

Thank you o! God bless u!!!

Let her not waste more time please. Her education doesn't have anything to do with work experience in this case. She is fine with her BSc. Hoping she gets enough points based on age and IELTS.

Ethelia:

Tell her to start the process quickly. That she studied something different in University doesn't affect her application at all.

Nothing like least, the higher the CRS score, the better because the more likely you are to get an ITA.

To be on the SAFEST side, depending on ur age, work experience and education, aim for CRS 450. This way u have a very high chance of being invited almost immediately. So start the TDB on IELTS to ace this!

If you are considering the EE route, you can't use the Academic module, you will need to rewrite the General module because requesting for a remark is not a good idea, considering the objective nature of the L & R components. However, if you are thinking of applying to study, then the Academic module is your thing (you need to go to another thread for this one).

Please I have a question regarding PCC from Alagbon.

For those not in Nigeria, I understand they can fill the Finger print form, scan and send it down to a friend who can help them process it at the station with Inspector Moshood grin. In filling the form, i.e. taking their finger prints, must they do it at a police station in their country of residence? or can they just do this at home?

thanks.
