It's not a story of how I prayed or went to church.Sad as it may sound av been through that process and it didn't work for me,all I know is that I wanted to stop.
So I asked myself why do it when you can have the real thing...I decided to be having sex instead of masturbating,,I had sex at least once everyday for like 2weeks and I can proudly say that am done with that shit..share your experience

well you have simply substitute the habits,habits are simply replace. as habits are learned and also be unlearned.so the habits is not the problem,but your ability to be in charge of the habits itself remember GOd created us as habitual beings but we are meanth to cultivate habits that glorify God.

in your case you have simply replace masturbation with having sex all the time,what about when you cannot have sex due to work/etc.would you resort to prostitution etc? i believe your ability to tell your body what it can take and cant take is the hall mark of doing anything.you own your body rebel against it,as you are not a slave to anyone including your body.

I have stopped for 77 days now. the secret for me was that I made a covenant with God not to do it again it has worked for me richly to the extent that the initial control that the masturbation monkey had over me has been eliminated. I also cut off pornography and the likes. and pray regularly. freedom is real I believe now.

Masturbation and sex, they are the same sin bro...! No difference
