There is nothing difficult in introducing yourself to someone. Just walk up to them, say your name, ask them for theirs, then continue the conversation from there.

And if that's you on your profile, then you need to know that because of your looks, you have a social advantage and you should learn to use this advantage. Fine people shouldn't have social anxiety. Draw some confidence from your looks and realize that you have something most Nigerians don't have. You are a queen as far as looks is concerned and other girls need to bow to you . Digest this statement and let it guide your behavior.

Choosing is better but I'm an introvert and am kinda socially awkward, I'm not really good at associating with people offline, only online , so they all came to me, I didn't choose them, if you choose me and I don't like you or not compatible with you, I discard you, one made me angry, I discarded her cos she got on my last nerve but we later reconciled sha after months of not being friends.

Yes intelligence bring people to you, the hottest babe in my dept don't relate with people anyhow, she is actually a snub but she relates with me cos she know am intelligent, ask me stuffs about assignment, lecture, school etc, we are even friends on Facebook, something that most girls wish for, same good to to other ones, I don't know why people choose me but since I was small I don't know what it means to choose friends, in my jss1, the first day I was admitted to the school, I went to my class a girl dragged me out of her sit cos I refused to leave her seat , I was very small in size and stubborn then, my friend stood up to her and fought for me, then took me to her seat, someone I don't even know , that's was how we started talking and because, she protected me throughout my sec sch, then other ones became my friends too. In university now, same thing, people keep choosing me both guys and girls, I actually avoid most of them, I don't like many friends, Maybe I was born for people to choose me . Also I have a likeable personality, people just see me, automatically think am a good girl and like me .

This guy in dept also, he is very intelligent, girls die for him literally, call him all sort of sweet names, since our 100L he has been my friend, he approached me the first day I came to lecture, told me his name and told me my name that he is my Facebook friend, from there we became friends, he help me do assignments some times especially difficult solving ones, girls dey jealous us o, person wey I no dey date .

Well, you have a point , maybe as a student, being intelligent academically helps in bringing people close to you, I concur with that point.

But, how about outside academics? don't you think wisdom, discernment and much humorous can beat "intelligent" in being a major attraction to friends, I'm viewing as a guy , I know ladies so much love intelligent fellows but, you and I knows that there's a thing line between intelligent, brilliant and wisdom can someone have all?, I doubt now, ask yourself the attribute that intelligent people lack , i mean the attributes that can make intelligent fellows trip and long for someone what could it be? any idea?

Maybe some of them are my friends for academic gain but not all, that's my sec sch girlfriend is still my friend uptill now, the friendship is still tight, she is my besties sef, the guy in my dept is not after academic gain, I'm actually the one that is after academic gain from him cos he is very intelligent, more intelligent and helps me with school problems and difficult assignments. Maybe I am a hot a cake after all. Its just that in life, some people get liked easily, you just see them and like them for no reason.
