@ Glitteringstar, Canadianfly, 40man, macstan, newmum, mumyjaygirls & other Seniors too numerous to mention.

Thank you for your guidance so far.
Got ITA around 11pm last night.
With your guidance, I have been able to gather all required documents b4 ITA except Statement of account.

I have 2 issues/ questions as I want to submit my application if possible tonight or tomorrow.

(1) Kindly send me the specific address the statement of Account is to be addressed to. I wish to get it 2day or 2mro.

(2) I am printing 2 statements, one from my US$ and the other from Naira. The challenge is that, in order to have a unified account for POF, I credited someone Naira expecting him to send me US$4700 to my dorm so as to complete the required funds for family of 5 in US$ & have a single conversion since that was where I had the bulk of funds.

When he sent it, he put the Remark - GIFT AND DONATION, meanwhile, when I sent him naira, I put PAYMENT FOR US$4700.
My challenge is this remark that he put. What can I do about it. He apologised as he said it was the default remark of GTB internet banking but apology cannot salvage this situation knowing fully well that Gift accepted by CIC is mostly from parents or siblings and would require deed statement.

PLEASE HELP A BROTHER, AM TOO CLOSE TO LOSE OUT

GTBank would not process if you have other narration in place, it has to be gifts and donation because of the fx transfer policy from local accounts except if it is done from offshore account.

I understand now. thanks for taking time out to explain.

It is ok if they would not apply for the student visa.

My person applied for student visa o.

The admission was not Nova Scotia school

happytbaby:
The case is slightly different.

The application is with the school....just for admission, they will not apply for student visa. The only thing they will apply for is the PR, they cannot affect each other.

The person you are talking about was trying to apply for PR and Student visa at the same time. However, I thought they said dual intent is possible....was the school also in Nova Scotia province or outside it?

It is on the place holder, if you do not have it, explain that your employer does not issue.

However, people should not start bombarding me with 'I did not submit it and I got PPR', no one is saying you cannot get PPR without paystubs, I 'only pointed it out to Newmum so that people reading the thread do not feel that it is not a required document.

Thank you all.
sunvick:
Thought as much too. Cos we are not giving payslip.

I wish everyone still waiting for IELTS, WES and ITA God's favour. The journey to PPR have started.

I have the following questions:

1. I have reference letters from the three places I worked in Nigeria dated November 2017. Hope I can still use them? I collected them when I visited Nigeria last year.

2. Can I just request for my stamped and signed statement of account from my bank for the POF (It is a UK account)? If no, can someone give me the template for the POF letter.

3. By God's grace, I should have my first child in a couple of days from now, should I wait to have the child before submission or I can proceed with the submission? Also considering the fact that I might not be able to process and get the baby's passport sorted ASAP cos of passport shortage and bureaucratic bottlenecks in Nigeria embassy, London.

4. Who is the best officer to approach at Alagbon for the PCC (cheap price and speed)?

3. Yes wait, its only a few days and you have 3 months to submit. Use this time to start making preparations for other things

4. I think the only officer that has been mentioned is Inspector Moshood. Don't know of any other one

Please do. Have a trusted person look through too if possible. Spouse, bae kiss or sibling. Two minutes to clicking transmit, my husband noticed something I missed. Even after my over 1 month of preparing docs, I made the error same day I was to submit. Just look and re-look.

Opotuniti:
Lol, I have actually scanned all required since January sef. I don tey for this naija.

Incidentally, I got answers to all queries everyweek from various people's questions, I dint need to ask most times.
Based on numerous advise here, I'll take another one week to review daily to see if my eyes will see any mistake I never noticed before.

Thank you for the address.

The thing is if I use gift deed from friend, it will negate the remark I put in the transfer.

Thanks, I will be patient, for two or more people to have recomended, I will wait, I cant even meet up with this tomorrow sef as I have to thrash this remark issue

Newmum0615:
I used the address below:

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Central Intake Office (CIO)
Sydney, Nova Scotia
Canada.

Hmm, this case is somehow for me. A way out might have been to actually do the gift deed, but since you need to show his statement highlighting the transfer, it has posed another challenge IMO. I don't know how else you want to write an LOE for that narration. If it was a cash deposit, he could have done the gift deed and stated that it was a cash deposit and not a transfer to avoid showing his statement of account.

A number of people have successfully used gift deed from friends alone. There is actually nothing wrong with having multiple documents showing your POF.

Let others suggest, someone might have a workable solution.

That your friend need flogging sha.

Please go through your documents, don't be in a hurry to submit o.

Good luck.

Thanks. I appreciate. kiss However, there is no correlation between Express Entry/FSW and School Admission. I applied as an international student and I've been admitted. I will change my status from an international student to a domestic student once I land as a Permanent Resident (I don't need to apply for study permit).

Can you go to the bank and see if they can issue you a CIC letter, that way you don't have to explain anything.

I had similar last minute transaction too but my bank issued a letter so I didn't need to explain.

GTB will work, it's below USD1000. In fact any bank that allows international transactions on their cards will work. You need to confirm the limit for your own bank.

4. Who is the best officer to approach at Alagbon for the PCC (cheap price and speed)?

Tankiu

1. Yes

2. Most UK banks do not give letters for POF, I am in UK as well my bank (Llyods Bank) told me they can only give some stamped documents to me which could cover some of the things CIC is requesting but not a direct letter to CIC simply written for the POF purpose. I have email conversations with the bank's Complaint team and their reply which I attached to my LOE as this will convince the VO that I at least try to get the bank letter in their format. You could do that with your bank too if they are not giving the letter in the format.

3. I think you should wait as someone advised.

4. Office Moshood did my Nigerian PCC in 2days for about 8k.. he's reliable.

Thank you for your reply.

I will use the LOE as advised.
I also plan to submit my naira

PLEASE CHECK IF I AM INLINE
I suggested to him to give me an affidavit and notarize the one page statement of his account showing where I sent the naira to him. Does this make sense if I attach affidavit/notary from him acknowledging the error he made?

I am seeing CIC format for drafting POF. Kindly send the link, i guess it must have been treated before.
Is there a particular format I should take note of?

Thanks

happytbaby:
You are back to square 1.

That Naira statement that you did not want to use is still what you are going to use. You may write an LOE stating that you converted Naira to dollar and that narration was wrong. You will then referr them to the Naira statement on which you will highlight the payment with PDF highlighter.

Alternatively, if you get the bank letter in CIC format, the average balance of both accounts summed together will still show that you had the money before, (provided that the funds have been there for a while), the slight dip in Naira average balance will be compensated for by a rise in the dollar average balance. In that case you may not need to explain the transaction anymore and will not submit any of the statements.

Please review all your documents critically, there is no rush. Submitting today/tomorrow does not determine whether PPR will be in 3 weeks or 6 months. Also, label all documents properly to ensure you do not attach the wrong document in a placeholder. This is a common ground for rejection.

P.S: Note that any bank can issue the letter in CIC format, the Account Officer/ Customer Service person just has to obtain extraordinary approval to issue it in the format you want. You may have to draft the letter yourself to give them a guide. Leave the average balance calculation to them though.

Congratulations to all the ITA recipients. I have something bordering my mind. I am to resume in fall for my MSC in USA with funding. My PPR is likely to be around that time as PEBC is awaiting transcript from my alma mata.
I want to go for my MSC by fall because of the funding. When the PR call arrives, is it possible for me to go to Canada to finalise the PR thing for just a week and then return to US to finalise my study? Or must I stay for certain period of time in Canada before being able to travel out for study and other stuffs?
I need your submissions.
