A Japanese girl with the handle, "Wild Cabbage" has taken toTwitterr to recount her sordid ordeal in the hands of her grandpa, 10 years ago. The woman at the time was a teen and was living alone with Grandpa when he simply decided to stop giving her food. According to the girl who is from Kyoto, her Grandpa would kick her in the stomach severally if he caught her eating, and would only stop until she starts to vomit. No one was quite sure of the intent of the old man, in the same vein, nobody was sure of exactly what was fueling the evil in him: some people are just violent to the extreme.

What could have been her Body Mass Index (BMI)?

Adolphe Quetelet, the Belgian mathematician developed the BMI in a bid to ascertaining how healthy a person is judging solely by their height and weight. The BMI is the number given if a person's weight in kilograms is divided by the square of their height in meters. According to this source, the average height of a typical female Japanese teen works out at 5ft2", an equivalent of  1.57m. This means that the girls BMI at the time would have been below a shocking 7! The BMI had inferred that a person who has a BMI below 15 is "severely thin," but this girl has just only 7, 7! That is one properly wicked Grandpa.

not everybody has options you don't even know what the situation was. Just call wrong wrong and keep quiet. This kind of statement make bad people feel like it is not entirely their fault

I did, and considered it unlikely for two reasons. One, she said the grandpa would kick her in the stomach whenever he caught her eating. If she was locked up, the grandpa would be the only one to bring her food and there wouldn't be any 'catching' to be done. Two, she simply didn't mention that she was locked up, only that she was living alone with him.
I also considered the likelihood of her having the medical disorder called Anorexia Nervosa, in which the person, usually a teenage girl, starves herself in order to stay thin. And that, my sister, seems a lot more logical to me.
