If during that small gathering u had then, the guys family gave out anything at all and called it DOWRY then you are married but if no Dowry whatsoever was given, my dear traditionally you are not married.

Court marriage is also a type of marriage recognised by law, if the documents were duly signed, then you would have been officially married to him, but you have incomplete documents, so again my dear you are not married.

Truth is you have just been COHABITING, you must not organise a big marriage ceremony to be married, but the guy must give something recognised by your family as DOWRY. The whole village need not be there.

Thank you, as long as her mum and other siblings are there and they agreed to the union, she has done the right thing. She has her reason for not involving extended family or invite outsiders. As long as your parents consent to ur union and they have blessed you. She just need to go and perfect her marriage certificate in case she needs it for any other legal stuffs. Also, they have been introduced in the church as husband and wife and the pastor has prayed on their ring, so what else? some people are just blind with paparazzi during wedding. God has recognised your union and ur mum has blessed you as well as ur older sibling that stand in gap for ur dad. Dear sis, u r married to him.

Don't let your head swell, u deserves more...

I can relate to what u are going thru, am a bit far away in a small island from Anike and kids too, hence i understand ur plight.

But in my own case, I have the opportunity of been with them once every three month and I can tell u, it's just by the grace of God.

Guys are after my beautiful wife and there are million girls out there looking for a man, why running after the already taking?
