cromz:The way some of you talk self sometimes is baffling... These same set of forwards scored a whopping 12 goals in qualifiers of 6 matches and they put another 4 past Argentina in a game where Moses, Simon did not play, yet you are still looking for back ups? Ighalo Iheanacho Iwobi Victor Moses Moses S. A. Musa With a possibility of two more from Kayode Ideye H. Onyekuru A. Nwakeam Success What else do you want.?... Who else do you have to come in? I know that we all have the freedom to discuss here freely but let us show understanding, maturity and have a good history of where we are coming from as a team and what we have discussed here in the past. It's no use repeating this mundane agitation or expressing anxiety unnecessarily concerning our team |

I think iwobi gets the hatred from English fans because he chose naija. The boy is atleast 5* better than Alli. After watching alli yesterday, i realised he is utter crap and i guess we dodged a huge bullet. |

Ahmed Musa was on for 90mins in their last night's Europa league game against FK Crvena Zvesda. CSKA was away. Though it ended 0:0. Happy that Musa is back up and running. We will no doubt need his World Cup experience in Russia. |

NFF did well to send the invites early. Everyone can sort out visa issues on time. |

tbaba1234:Haha Cobwebs. But these are professional players who have been into active football for years. Not as if they sit on the bench during training session. For a player returning from injury it will take a longer time to be match fit. But for a player like Musa who was not injured but only kept out of match day squads one or two games and he is back up and running. Though Musa may not be a starter in Russia but I see him as a potential Super sub that can come in to complete the damage. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Nobody: 6:27am On Feb 14, 2018 |
Icon4s:There is a difference between competitive games and reserve games. He will be fit but that extra sharpness will take a few games. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 6:32am On Feb 14, 2018 |
tbaba1234:Not necessarily bro. Doesn't follow for every player. Like I said it is only players returning from injury that take a longer time to regain sharpness. For a player who was relegated to the reserve team, one or two senior(competitive games) and he is up and running. Some players even hit the ground running right from their first game after return |

Icon79:O pari o master, pls you need to read the genesis of our discussion before you can understand what led to Emma Daniel,Alampasu and Maduka stuff. Pls i do not understand what you mean by you can bet it probably have not watched Emma or Alampasu in my life, pls try to be courtesy in some of your words cos i respect you a lot and i believe you should understand basics things about football analysis and not always being carried away with emotions. I was with U 17 live at UAE and have good relationships with most of these players till today, saying have never watched Alampasu is an insult and mind you even after U 17 have watched him in number of occasions but if i may ask you is Alampasu not a member of Rohr team.I remember he was always in camp and kept against Corsica in a friendly. On Emma Daniel, what brought his name into discussion was all about our future and i need to refer to him,Uzoho, Alampasu and Maduka, that the future is bright or are your saying a young keeper that benched Akpeyi at Rio 2016 is no longer a future of Nigeria team. On Maduka my case is clear cos i know what is football and i will not be deceived by what people posted on him and thank God tbaba1234 came out and said the guy had 2 clean sheets in 15 games in regional league and this statement was the bedrock of our discussion. Look before i make any comments here i have my facts not just hearsay and sometimes did my research,so saying some folks are talking thrash here is out of it cos that's what your comment implied which is uncalled for and am highly disappointed such notion can come out from you,oh my God i hold you in a very high esteem. I started watching this game since 1980 and is a fact not just talks and i can tell you a lot about Nigeria football till today without going into archive.I follow the game passionately especially anything relating to Nigeria football and sports in general. On Maduka i still repeat it how on earth a keeper keeping in junior regional league equivalent of division 4 in Europe is good for super eagles if not sentiment. I made a post on super eagles goalkeeper crisis and those who really understand the game agreed that things must be done cos most of our keepers are not doing well in their various clubs except shaking Akpeyi which is not convincing. Uzoho is now a fourth keeper in his club but keeping in division three which is not good enough. If not for keepers crisis, super eagles is not a place for division three player. Alampasu a third keeper in his club meaning is match rusty and not good enough for Eagles criteria if not for Eagles keepers crisis. Maduka a keeper in fourth division not a good criteria for Eagles,on what ground for God sake. I'm not saying these guys are not good cos Uzoho already showed us that they can come good but for the coming WC can we trust them between the sticks especially seeing them keeping in lower leagues. One thing is glaring the future is bright with Grancis Uzoho,Alampasu, Daniel and Maduka but coming to upcoming WC Rohr need wisdom in his selection and as thegoodjoe always saying no sentiment the best should be picked. |

forgiveness:Mr forgiveness, you know that what you typed at the bolded is terribly wrong... Comparing your Lil kids to a full grown adult that you are having an argument with online is wrong. Very wrong on all sides. Please stop it for the sake of the growth of this thread and the Super Eagles. andrew444:Oga Andrew, I know that his insult at you riled you up, please do not tow the same line with him. I have cautioned him and I believe other members will too. If we all starts throwing insults at each other the end of this lovely thread will be near. I understand that we go out of line once in awhile but we haven't gone overboard with it, so let it not start now. The supernerd is still trying to get over the insult to his Mum but here you are calling out someone else father. Please for the sake of sanity of this thread, sheath your swords. Thanks ............................................. House please address this, direct insults at our person or at our parents should not be tolerated here. ... andrew444:oga, winning an argument transcends being vile and discourteous. I've been on your argument with forgiveness from start and you bringing his family into the discuss was an overt display of gross disrespect. What has his kids got to do with this and what has his dad got to do with this? You give off this impression of a bitter saddist. You can conveniently pass your point across devoid of insults and unnecessary name calling. I would never have engaged you if I were forgiveness honestly. |
