andrew444:The point is not quoting you or him No matter how rude his words are don't rope in another member of his family into your discuss. If you both want to do royal rumble on each other please do. It doesn't tell well on two supposed adults who rope in family into unpleasant comments. It doesn't show the maturity in you both. He deserves an apology from you and vice versa. An apology won't change either your name or his from what it is. If things like this aren't condemned now it may become a norm on the long run. For love, friendship and the Eagles Cc: Forgiveness |

And by the way, to answer your question, the reason why the likes of Maduka and Uzoho are getting a look in is because both Akpeyi and Ezenwa has disappointed badly. Rohr is now desperate for a decent goalkeeper ... anybody at all. And, as you know, desperate men do desperate things Remember, when Carl Ikeme was healthy, you didn't see Rohr picking goalkeepers from the garbage bins of the Euro leagues. And I apologize again for jumping to the wrong conclusions about you. I like to read your posts as well. You're one of the major assets we have in this house. Cheers! O pari Kog45: |

Dutch club Fortuna Sittard suspends former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/onesport/cps/800/cpsprodpb/F783/production/_94936336_gettyimages-630798652.jpg Netherlands' second tier side Fortuna Sittard have suspended former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh for what it calls "unacceptable actions". The club statement said that he has been put on "non-active" duties, stopping short of saying he has been sacked. "Several attempts by the club to encourage a change in the coach's behaviour have unfortunately not worked, resulting in an unworkable situation," the statement said. "The board of Fortuna Sittard emphasizes that the decision to suspend Sunday Oliseh is not motivated by the current sporting performance." "The coach's unacceptable actions have made cooperation between many people within the organization impossible - from players to employees. "Fortuna Sittard regrets the decision, but states that the club interest goes above all else." Oliseh was appointed as Sittard coach in late December 2016. Sittard finished 17th in the 20-team league at the end of last season but are currently third in the table and are five points behind leader NEC. With eight wins and just one loss earlier this season the club actually won what is called the "second period" of the league, which is made up of four periods. The club play in the Eerste Divisie, which is the professional league below the Eredivisie, Holland's topflight, and it consists of 20 clubs. The Eerste Divisie champions gain automatic promotion to the Eredivisie, while eight clubs made up of the period champions and the other best-ranked teams, will compete in play-offs for two further promotion places. --BBC |

Of course Oliseh has his own story which could be true.. even after the SE issue, he still had some good reasons to resign. That doesn't change he has challenges in managing relationships. Well I don't know him personally. just my thinking. kingphilip: |

EmmGee:My man is not about hype,Dele Ali is damn good.I was in your shoe before thinking the guy was over hype but later realized that the guy worth it. I know what you expect is Dele Ali that do the flicks, dribble two three players on a row, show classical movement, No Ali that i later know is a simple footballer who understand the game very well,he was well schooled about the game.He knows when to dribble, when to pass and when to run into space,so he delivered most of the time. It takes third eyes or those who really understand the rudiments of modern day football to appreciate Ali but sometimes his performance is confusing, like yesterday match he did what coach expected him to do. I think Real Madrid fans will never forget him,he made football so simple and does his things with ease. |

komekn:That's the problem! Why do you judge he isn't good enough for the league? In other words the others like di Maria, depay, cuadrado who are proving themselves in other top leagues are not good enough for the Top level football?. The problem is when you say some detrimental things about our players you forget the players you clamour for are either out of our reach or not up to standard to what we have in the SE. Bros football doesn't end in England, personally Germany , Italy, Spain have a better football education than this English league your shouting. The only thing making the EPL relevant is the star players, top class managers, media coverage and the intensity. asides that what is the noise? Musa wasent given games, I'm suprised you come out and say he dosent measure up, in little to no game time he scored a few. Then when a player leaves a club it doesn't mean that's the end of the world, he would carry the knowledge he got in England and become a better player in Russia. Except you want to come up with your numerous ridiculous theories where you say "the championship is better than the Russian league, Dutch league etc". No knowledge is wasted, your not even happy he's playing your complaining he couldn't make it in a league where he wasent given a chance. Oga you are why a lot Europeans have no respect for us. You never have an idea of ur own, you feel they(Europeans) they are better than us in everything. psychological you are been brainwashed and you see no wrong in it. then you try justify yourself when ever you are called out for bringing down your OWN! In other words you a bad ass "ass licker". I know Nigerian is mediocre, but remember where you are from! pulling us down would not change anything. You say some reasonable things but because of the predisposition I have on you, I don't even read what you say no matter how informative. I though the essence of learning in another country is to come impact your country positively. |

kingphilip:Since he started this job, there have been reports that he has been very difficult to deal with and very abrasive towards players and staff. He has achieved on the field success but relationship management appears to be a serious issue. During his stay as Nigerian coach, Enyeama and Emenike called it quits. |

Joebie:Sunday Olishe i knew had egoism issue, very arrogant, hghly temperamental and can go haywire anytime. Sunday Olishe disciplinary record not too good,i remember he was suspended by his Club Bochum in Bundesliga for headbutt his teammate. He had serious issue with Samson Siasia during training prior to Italy match and Siasia was axed from starting lineup but this led to a divide house cos some players were not happy with Westerhoff's decision for axing Siasia and left Olishe free. This really affected the team spirits and contributed to our ouster in 2nd round cos Westerhoff refused to bring Siasia in after Amokachie got injured due to that incident. He had issue with one of his teammate, may be Victor Okechukwu Agali during 2002 afcon, they needed to be separated by teammates. Also had issue with honourable sports minister by walking the man out during afcon 2002,this singular act led to the disbandment of the team and was the genesis of our poor outing at 2002 WC. He also had issue with former Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama forcing him to retire from the team and Emma Emenike too resigned from the team with speculations that he had issue with Olishe. |

Emenike quitting d national team has nothing to do with oliseh,he was afraid of d upcoming competition coming with d introduction of ighalo, iheanacho, iwobi et al coupled with d dry run of his goals for almost two years in d national team... Low self esteem made him quit,Not oliseh...cos if we go back to d interviews granted, he didn't mention much of oliseh's man management |

And just like the team under manager Gareth Southgate, sports manufacturer Nike have played it safe – and a little boring if the truth be told" Joebie do check up the link |

"Fortuna Sittard immediately puts his coach Sunday Oliseh on non-active. The club management makes this decision as a result of the repeatedly culpable actions for a longer period by the trainer towards several persons in the organization. Several attempts by the club to move the trainer to other behavior remained unfortunately without result, resulting in an unworkable situation as a result. The board of Fortuna Sittard emphasizes that the decision to disband Sunday Oliseh is not motivated by the current sporting performance. Because of his inadmissible actions, the coach has made the cooperation with many people within the organization impossible. From players to employees. Fortuna Sittard regrets the decision, but states that the club interest goes above all else." Statement by Oliseh's club |

Last year, i posted an article here that talked about Oliseh's bad behavior to players and other workers. He is obviously a good coach. He needs to work on man management. You can not be abusing grown men and making the whole environment toxic. If Oliseh can make a few adjustments to man-management, he will be a great coach. |
