These Chinese folks are carrying out exploitation of African natural and mineral resources. Go to the Forest and see them cutting large timbers, mining mineral resources and taking them back to China. I believe these State Governors are aware and are cutting deals with them. |

Sounds like an international ivory smuggling syndicate is using Lagos as a based of operation. I don'the think they got all those tusks here in Nigeria. What's our elephant population theses days though? |

mansakhalifa:Yes you are correct. They are even causing massive deforestation of our forest. We allowed the Europeans to extort us in the 18th/19th Century, now these Chinese people are stylishly carting away our natural and mineral resources. |

Based on current black market prices, the value of the seized shipment is $1.427 million. Pangolin scales (considered to have healing qualities by traditional Chinese medicine practitioners) are valued at $3,000 per kilogram, pangolin meat (considered a delicacy) at $300 per kilograms, and live pangolins at $992. see moneyyyy |

mansakhalifa: I agree, I believe some if not most of those tusk came in from Cameroon and other central African countries, the Pangolins are likely from Western Nigeria..One of the most trafficked animals in the world. The Chinese been corrupt themselves know the can easily get away with illegal trafficking and mining knowing how corrupt Nigeria as a country is.. |

There is a spate of increase in illegal dealing of Elephant Tusk throughput the world. But in Africa we don't have a constitution that recognises Animal Rights and some of our Animal scientist aren't helping in creating awareness for Animal Right. @iam_b4queen |

mansakhalifa: Does it matter where he and his criminal gang acquired the stuffs? All of them should be apprehended, tortured properly and slammed with a very lengthy jail term. The Chinese and their government are accomplices in this. If he had succeeded here, it would be easy for his colleagues manning the entry ports to look the other way when those get to China...try smuggling a few gram of cocaine or heroine and see how they catch you. Pangolin shells are highly valued in China...they reckon it can treats lots of health problems which includes cancer. ...The Chinese decimate and encourage the killing of endangered species in Africa but touch their Panda and see how you’ll not only get the strictest punishment, you might be killed and your organs: kidneys, liver, heart etc harvested. 1 Like |

I don't see anything bad in killing elephants as long as the money is entering. Just think of the money our Onitsha main market can rake in daily. This would be a blessing to our Igbo land as we would be reaping massive financial benefits. |
