Ended with me alive! cheesy

I couldn't wish for any better ending than this.
Haha thank God for that.

Lesson learnt: it's risky to go out with your debit cards linked to accounts where you have plenty money. Thanks for sharing.
On a brighter side, maybe it's time to get a ride. wink

So Sorry Mah! You really acted as smart as you have always been by getting your ATM cards blocked before they could perpetrate their devilish acts.

May God not let you experience such again.

This is a terrible ordeal, am so sorry dear. I was equally robbed in Abuja Central Area in a taxi, they took my phone and money. Thank God I had no bags with me. Its a traumatic situation.
Which brings me to the issue of jungle justice, see the reason why it happens. Am sure this set of robbers have been apprehended and set free.
Imagine if you see those guys caught and about to be permanently dealt with.
God protect us all.

I suggest that every commercial buses especially the danfos in Lagos should each have a distinct number boldly written at the front, back and the 2 sides of the bus, and it should be reflective in the dark so that before or on boardering any bus a passenger can actually have d number in his/her head

We thank God for his mercy and intervention on your behalf.

After reading this, I will no longer keep my account balances as SMS on my phone.

I will deactivate my personal gmail from my phone.

You are a rich girl, why not just buy yourself a car instead of jumping buses all across the street of Lagos. See what your stingyness has led you to now.

So sorry Amicable09. The other lady was my colleague, because the same thing happend to her on Monday at Surulere. She called the office immediately after the ordeal and someone was sent to pick her up.

By now, you should be back to Zanga. Trust your uncle. Lol.

Sorry once again and please be careful.

wooow...what is lasgidi really turning into? To say i understand the trauma you must be feeling right now may sound like an understatement. i was unlucky to have entered a one chance bus after the close of work on the island. To say my God never sleeps nor slumber when we worship him everyday is just a tip of an iceberg..He saves!
omo the way i jumped out or should i say thrown out of the vehicle when i realised what just happened is still a shocker to me till date. These guys are heartless and now they have topped up the game by using more danfo buses. I keep telling my collegues, stop moving around with your Atm card bt instead little cash for the day, at least something one can part away with easily. i know no matter how careful we are, we can not always be sure. So sorry Op for what you passed through, nemesis would definitely catch up with them sooner than they think....
dt y i dnt fancy dt lagos dt afonja hype always u rarely get such in abuja.even police go follow u smile but abj pple dnt brag about abj online

Sorry amicable09. This thing is not something to wish for even an enemy. I've been robbed three times and every time it happens, it still feels like its a first.

Last one was just last year and it's still vivid.

The thing about the ATM though. I think I'll do that to my other account. I'll leave one as it is. But the other one, hopefully, I'll erase everything about it on Monday. Sorry and thank you for the advice.

Sapiosexuality:
This is very terrible. Good thing you survived it. Thank God you are alive. Money can always be made. One important lesson we should learn from this is to stop dragging with criminals when they try to snatch our property. I lost a friend last year like that and it was painful. He dragged the wheels with the robbers who shot him and stole his car. The car was found 2 days later. It was painful. Let's stop such stubbornness. It's never wise. So sorry, Amicable.

Lalasticlala, Mynd44, Seun, please let's take this to the front-page to enlighten and help the LASG to nip this in the bud.

I agree 100%. Robbers are so desperate to the point of maiming or killing if there's resistance in any way. I am wiser now, if only I knew that even from my transaction history my bank can tell which ATM dispensed my cash. And from the CCTV footage, I can get the robber's identity. That mere slotting my card in a POS can get me the details of the merchant who owns the POS and all other information required can be gotten with ease as long as there's life...

We learn everyday.
Sorry about the loss of your friend.

Not knowing where we were or... I begged for a phone and called a family member. The tears after a while washed away the balm and its effects, then my eyes became clear. Where I saw myself was at ketu. I said a quick prayer. Turned to look at my fellow victim but she was nowhere to be money trail and you 'can' get your money back and even get the criminals arrested....

More to come

Story told intelligently... You must be a blogger! Thank God for your safety. I equally had a safety testimony on Friday.. We thank God for everything
