Having watch two videos of interview granted by channel television on youwin connect, minister of finance Kemi Adeosun said it's still the same youwin but a restructured one that impart knowledge into the grantees on how to apply various business skills that has been acquired in online training to our various business.
This time around it is going to be Equity funding in which government will monitor the disbursement of the fund and have a share of the annual profit from the business of each you winners.
Whether some people will still be dropped or not, if I could read good meaning to her response on Channel TV she said 10m is quite a lot of money to be given to an individual without a refund, that they are looking at it if 10m can be given to 10 people as 1m each. I think this is what brought about 5000 awardees this time around.

I have no problem with equity investment Seriously. But the problem is equity investment is mostly for existing business, not start up. That's why you will notice Youwin connect is unpopular among Nigerian youth unlike Jonathan's Youwin. Jonathan's Youwin give grant to start up. There are many graduates that have business ideas and training but still can not start their business because they have no start up capital. And banks give loans only to existing business and not start up. Which is the mistake the same you win connect is making.
