Sirjamo:Do you care about what the enemies of Nigeria say? Hell No! I careless. The supposed youths (leaders of tomorrow) spend a lifetime on social media talking gibberish instead of getting involve and bringing their creative ideas to bear. Long live PMB government! Long live Nigeria |

It could have been better if we truly know those that should be held responsible for downfall of Nigeria. Each state has its own adminstration. Each state has its own representative and the law makers.. |

Even a daft will k ow corruption is by far worse under buhari. Let me speak on the one I know of. Nddc has become more corrupt. Pdp appointees would charge contractors 10% kickbacks. Apc appointees are charging 15 to 20%! There's also something called water hycent job used normally to empower youths. It never goes beyond 3.5m. I was water hycent job of 659m A job nobody does.. |

Sirjamo:Lucky you. Ill wind does blow some people good! Tell this to the thousands that have lost jobs and businesses Tell that to the parents of the Dapchi girls. Tell that to the bereaved families in Benue where official corruption and nepotism hasn't allowed them to enjoy their location. Tell that to the millions of Nigerian who, because of corruption and the trenchant attitude of government, can barely survive in this shithole. |

Sirjamo:bro! I just tire!! When someone argues that some of these int'l orgs along with certain foreign elements have been conspiring against the progress of this country. When one asserts that they are not happy about this government's efforts to sanitize this system and lay the foundation for the emergence of a future world power, them go say Na conspiracy theory.. Mtchewwww!!! |

This is how to respond to a sentimental administration. You respond with #FACTS. We can not deny the reputation of the international organizations, they know Nigeria very well. Hence, the Buhari administration is only fighting corruption shadows and not corruption. |

People are blaming only APC.... Hiding the real deal. When PDP had opportunity it was hell, that made PDP to capitalise on what they did to become the ruling party. Now the effect is unbearable. Lessons learnt is these two parties and set of people should be faded out otherwise it will grow worse. No matter the party. |
| Re: Transparency International Hits Nigerian Government With Facts On Corruption by deomelllo: 3:07pm On Feb 27, 2018 |
I was expecting to see factual reports and documented acts corruption committed by specific individuals, not vague, baseless and imaginary conclusions. Per corruption in Nigeria as a country, the weak link is the judiciary, this is the arm of government needed to take the last stand. The government can fight, investigate and arrest people for acts of corruption all they want, but getting the judiciary to render convictions and sentencing is a different case entirely. Corruption is not going anywhere as long as our judicial institutions and our last stand against corruption remains corrupt and part of the corrupt system, they are conniving and enabling participant, they make sure their corrupt benefactors go free based on the absurd, corrupt and ridiculous judgments they render. There are top judges and members of the judiciary on trial for bribe taking and corruption as we speak, so how do we get justice and deterrence? The legislature is another corrupt arm of government with many legislatures and lawmakers on trial for corruption including the Senate president, his deputy and lieutenants. How do we as a country fight corruption when the same corrupt legislatures we tasked to approve and confirm heads of our crime fighting agencies, the same legislatures under investigations and trials by the same crime fighting agencies. It's like asking the bank robbers to select their own favorite prosecutors and judges. We see these absurdities and conflict of interest in Nigeria. The whole system is broken and the corrupt elements in government and beyond are taking advantage of this broken system so for now, corruption stays. |
