Sir we have received many "facts" and "assurance" severally. That you claim yours is fact doesn't mean you can bully people into swallowing it. You should address people with some politeness. The young man was not wrong in what he stated...recent updates have been controversial.

So either you drop your own "info from reliable source" and leave it at that or you keep it to yourself. No one is under obligation to believe you and it's not compulsory you try to force people to believe you.

Yeah, to be honest , the whole transparency and merit thing is beginning to lose credibility. Heard from a "sauce" that there's been serious commotion in the inner circle because some of their candidates weren't included ,that's why the whole thing is still dragging. I am not trying to please anyone, i have been in the system and i am in the system and i know what i'm saying.
At the end of the day many guys that will recieve their APL will deny knowing anyone but they got an oga working it out for them behind the scene. What i'm saying is, take a deep breath, wash your face, take a walk with your dog, enjoy your life, when DPR calls, look at your phone with a smile on your face and say BITCH WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?

How will someone feels after many months of sleepless nights and excessive palpitations due to high blood pressure and at the end of the day someone who didnt even attend aptitude test will come and tell you he has gotten the job, it is sad but it happens and you have to accept it because you cant do anything about it, Its better to tell yourself the truth, For the truth will set you free. I will never feel sad if i didnt get this job even though i like it with all my life because i have known the likely outcomes. Everyone should feel the same, DPR is not the end of the road.

If it is by shear merit.. Only 2% of you here will make it...do you know how many people from your state performed brilliantly above you? Do you know the quota for your state? Do you think other factors apart from the cumulative of your test and interview scores don't count? Do you think you are the best? Can you prove that you actually scored high? Have you seen your cumulative score? My people it's only the grace of God and of course destiny that can qualify you to be on the list... Not by mere wishful thought of " by merit" I am not saying there should not be a standard, but other factors count... And these factors may be the determinant factors that will put your name on that list...If it's by shear merit, most of you here won't make the list

A friend of mine who is not on nairaland was later called for his APL because his state quota was vacant... He didn't envisage it. He came out with a lower credit (OND) ,lo and behold he was the only one for his state LGA, DPR had no option than to call him to pick his appointment letter.

You are wrong here. In the public sector, any massive recruitment (hundreds of thousands of candidates applied) that is carried out within months or weeks lacks credibility, transparency and proper scrutiny.

In a recruitment of this nature, computer programme can be manipulated. Therefore, a lot of manual scrutiny is carried out.

1. Why were your credentials screened manually before interview since you have already uploaded it in a computer system?

2. Sometimes, the criteria for selection fail and then new criteria are made and another labourous selection process starts.

It is not always easy and straight forward as we think.

If DPR wanted to employ people based on godfatherism, there will be no need for advert, test and interview.

CBN, PTDF and the host of other juicy places have been employing secretly.

If DPR wanted, they would do the same and you and I cannot take them to court.
