Hello house,
I don't know if this has been discussed here as i joined the thread recently and have only opened the links on page 0 for vital information. Is it possible to submit notarized document as well as a sworn affidavit of sponsorship and then bank documents of someone who doesn't share same surname as my son and i( i am a single mom) as POF? I know nobody works with IRCC here but does anyone have any idea if this will likely be accepted? Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Sandydav, it will be better for the person to send the money directly to your account, then you do a gift deed. Type “giftdeed” on the search bar, you will find more information.

The person has to give the money to you, it has to be in your bank account. Then you do a gift deed as evidence that the person has given you the money for the purpose of settling in Canada, to read more on gift deeds, please use the search bar on top or use Google to search "Nairaland express entry gift deed'.

You need to have the money in your account. You also need a gift deed from the person giving the funds. If you had really gone through page 0, you woulda noticed this link. Read up. You'd get all you need there.

Hi TOLLU.

I trust that you are keeping very well. Please i need some info from you... I had my child in america in Jan.. he just returned and i want to add him to my application.

I submitted a CSE to CIC and i got a response to compete some forms

Questions:-

1. Did you complete/submit the IMM008enu_2d or IMM008depenu?
2. In the IMM5406, did you add just your newborn or did you complete it all over again with details of your entire family?

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks and kind reagrds

tollu:

My application is with London VO. I raised a CSE and also sent them an email then they requested for some documents which I provided.

If you haven't, please get your baby's birth certificate, international passport, passport photo. You will need to provide those.

I saw a message where someone got an ADR for an explanation on why she didn't inform them of the birth of her baby in good time. So you might want to do this asap.

Yeah, my bad. I might have clicked on a different category. But anyway, my question remains: When do you pay which fee and when? It's got me a bit confused. Kindly help clarify

You are ahead of me in the process. However, there are 2 fees that would be paid by each adult, the processing fee and the RPRF fee. You can choose to pay the RPRF later when they request but you must pay processing fee before you submit. If you choose to pay both at the same time, you will be paying 1040CAD

I didn't claim points for my husbands qualifications so I didn't fill anything under educational history but went ahead and included it under his personal history, hence no place holder was generated for his certificates. You can also do same

Is it possible that you can go back on your application to put your spouse educational qualication supposing your crs was not high enough? Then at what point does one see or know the crs point?

Good evening everyone. Please I want to submit my application next week but my passport is expiring in October. Do you think I should submit and include a letter of explanation that my passport cannot be renewed until 6 months to its expiration or wait till May to submit. And do they refuse people based on passport expiration? Please I need advice

Your MBA is your highest qualification so evaluate it only. Leave the Bsc

1. Birth certificate is only for children.
2. You're very much in line. There's only one placeholder for educational docs.

JESUSisable:
LONG POST ALERT PLS!

STEP 2: Passport Requirements – Determine if you need to submit your passport(s)

· Please note that if you or your accompanying family members are permanent residents of the U.S.A and a holder of a passport which requires a visa to enter Canada, you are still required to submit your passport(s).

If you require a visa to enter Canada, then submit your passport(s):

· Please provide your passport or travel document and a passport or travel document for each accompanying family member. An accompanying family member must have his or her own passport or travel document.

· There must be at least two blank pages in your passport(s).

· Please note that permanent resident visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military passports or travel documents.

· All passports must be intact and not worn, torn or otherwise damaged; the laminate on the bio-data page must be securely attached. Each page must be securely affixed to the passport; there cannot be any loose pages.

· Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 12 months from the date of this letter.

Hi @Bimz89. The bolded above should be of use to you. So I suppose you need to tarry a while and then renew your passport so as to play safe

You can submit now...they would definitely ask you to renew when the time comes and give you 60 days to do so,within that time you can renew and replace...got an ADR for this.

Thank you for this. I haven't really gone far as well, still waiting for my ECA from WES. Just needed this info for my planning purposes. I guess the processing fee must be refundable in case you don't make it. God bless.

I don't think the LOE is necessary...ADR was actually for my spouse whose passport was to expire in July....submitted in December, added spouse in January and didn't include any LOE. Got the ADR two weeks back.Responded to ADR today. Thanks to @sthillz's contact whom I used.

I am presently @ IP2.

It would sure end with praises

An excerpt from one of your posts ... " my visa was revoked cos I used B1/B2 visa for child birth and made use of some insurance during child birth" .

Two issues I've identified. (1) Use of B1/B2 visa for childbirth (2) insurance debt

For No. 1, well, it might not be much of an issue ( could be an emergency delivery for all i care smiley) if No.2 is dealt with.

It is contradictory to be indebted and claim you have the required POF. It would be better to pay up your debt because POF is such a crucial requirement in this process . CIC also requires that you state any outstanding debt.

Where you explicitly state what you owe US gov't in insurance in your application without redeeming such, it counters your POF and when slashed against POF (assuming reviewing officer is lenient enough to do so) , you're short of POF requirement. On the other hand, being coy about the debt, may land you into misrepresentation because they'd definitely know.

To be honest, take your time and pay the debt no matter how painstaking it might be . Failure of which, might raise the issue of insolvency (and credibility, if I may add) of PA.

Cheers!

Care to share you timeline with us.
