yes, if u give your life fully to the music that you don't have time for the word if God. if u make the lyrics your way of life instead of the word of God, then there is danger.

Let me disagree.
When you keep feeding your spirit with vulgar and vane words, like Bleep, bitch, pussy etc. Your subconscious takes note and its like a tap that drips watter in and empty bucket over a particular time, and boom, before you know it, your language because profane and if your heart is not guarded, you start looking to participate in those things you keep hearing.
Seriously I intentionally deleted so many songs i sincerely loved if there's the slightest fword. It hurt me buh i was like Bleep it, oops. It wasn't even adding anything to me, theres over a billion songs out thers that are waiting for you to hear them.
Botom line: choose what you listen to wisely so as not to get ur subconscious mind corrupted

Yes because most of this hip hop,rap etc carry violent, and ungodly lyrics which should be avoided, someone said U are feeding ur flesh becos it is the for the flesh but do U know the flesh can overpower the spirit, those stealing or killing,don't they have spirit and conscience? what happen? it started little,then the flesh overpowered the spirit, and according to some wise people song is a nourishment of the soul and mind, so when an ungodly things(songs) capture ur flesh,body,soul and mind what is left? the spirit, how strong is the spirit to overcome ¾

tap, buckets are all material things not spirits, so they are best used for the description

this is where the differences comes! It is not everyone that will be so careless of their mind not to know when it is coming, no doubt few people can be that careless allowing what they hear in lyrics influences their actions, but most people already have their principles intact long before music lyrics comes such that they have no effect on their behavior.

This action of yours will not do you any good, it will not benefit God in anyway,it will not make you a better christian, ofcourse your salvation is intact whether you delete them or not, neither will it help your church, rather you deleted what entertains you and makes you happy especially when you are bored. Now,think about your father seeing you dancing to a music tone in the sitting room at your home and he becomes happy and feels like dancing too irrespective of the music genre, will you now say God who is even more caring than your father will frown on you for dancing any music?
God is not that babarric.
The way religion has portray God to us, they make us think that God is that big guy up there who brings out is big whips on us when we mess up.

I used to listen to Lecrae before I dumped Christianity . You can check him out if you still want to be listening to rap/hiphop with a fusion of christian-ish lyrics. Lecrae, Triplee e.t.c are the best you can manage for dumbed down hiphop/rap for Christians but to me it's like always eating egg as meat when you can afford a full chicken.
