Until I read an article saying such an engine has been developed by Nigerian engineers at a company like Innosson, I dont care!!! MTCHEW ![]() |

More efficiency means more output for the same input. Engines of same capacity will perform like their counterparts (RPM, torque, horsepower, etc) while using less fuel. |

Cuteamigo1:Good question! I'm angry because all our leaders since oil boom have become lazy, unimaginative A-holes! Just keep selling oil! Keep sharing the money!! The schools can turn to sh.it, the farms can be left to rot, hospitals can become butcher shops and roads death traps. Just look for more oil to sell. The world is going electric. We are looking for more oil. |
| Re: Toyota Develops World's Most Thermally Efficient 2.0-liter Petrol Engine by Cuteamigo1(m): 9:53am On Mar 04, 2018 |
Jeezuzpick:you are right you know. but given all you said i think the problem is the leadership and not just the search for the oil because i seriously belive we need more oil to stop our dependence on oil (how funny is that). for us to grow and achieve all the things you mentioned we need alot of revenue from this same oil because for now it is our major forieng exchange earner but i belive the problem is that when the forex is saved instead of being invested in the things you talked about it gets stolen or shared as national cake. |

Cuteamigo1:Now we're getting somewhere! Other sectors create Nigerian jobs. A boom in Agriculture and Manufacturing sectors (aided by a boom in Power sector) will create so many jobs. Canada and Australia don't export more oil than us, yet they are looking for people to come do the jobs that are constantly being created in their countries. Meanwhile some poor, myopic sod was there heaping insults on his father and celebrating himself for being an intellectual. |

Jeezuzpick:mehn our problems if you ask me appear to be insurmountable but then canada and Australia are countries with a relatively small population compared to us. dont you think that makes them easier to govern and for government to implement all thier developmental plans? compared to our ever growing population |

kingreign:yeah, that water pump is expensive and for you to see tokunbo that will work perfectly due to brain box rejection, electric water pump should run for some time after shutting off the engine but if brain box not regulating well it keeps running till your battery die. |

Jeezuzpick:Meanwhile, some goats don't know reasonable people all over the world are still prospecting for oil. Go research how many new rigs go online in the US every MONTH! |
| Re: Toyota Develops World's Most Thermally Efficient 2.0-liter Petrol Engine by Jeezuzpick(m): 10:47am On Mar 04, 2018 |
Cuteamigo1:The situation in those countries is simply that they refused to let their limitations hamper development. If they relaxed and got complacent that all indigemes have jobs, what about their place in the global community? So they didn't relax, kept growing and so kept creating jobs. Job creation is a growth index. Is Nigeria creating jobs with the funds being expended by prospecting for oil? I tell you, if we end the herdsmen madness and spend that money on agriculture, more people will be employed and less people will be hungry. |
| Re: Toyota Develops World's Most Thermally Efficient 2.0-liter Petrol Engine by Jeezuzpick(m): 10:50am On Mar 04, 2018 |
mfm04622:Guy how many of those prospectors and rigs are government-sponsored? Are they not private endeavors who seek government licences and pay taxes? In case you don't know, oil prospectors are meant to be a source of income to the government, not upside down like in Nigeria. You're really funny comparing US with Nigeria. |

Originalsly:All the oil we have, what have we made of it? Oga crab, why not build other sectors? Ajaokuta is there, 98% completed. Why not finish it and use our vast steel, limestone and coal to feed it and make something of a great asset? Do you know the meaning of prospecting? It means they have NOT found oil! They are SEARCHING for oil and left the many resources we do have and know where they are! Do you think your reasoning is sound? Do you think your education was not a waste? Do you think you have made sense? What is wrong with Nigerians that their thinking has become so stunted? |

blackprowler:You might be lower than other human beings. Maybe you are a Neanderthal. - But I am not. And all black people are not. - Be aware that we have cultural values in Africa. Then there is Christianity which is a higher level of life. But we Africans hold onto our cultures with one hand, and practice ½ Christianity with the other hand. As long as your chief in your village is NOT a Christian and he has not Christianised your customs, then you remain bound, trying to serve 2 masters. But you do enjoy going to your village to impress the other villagers. Right? - White people have all lost their culture. They have no chief, no village. They don't impress anyone. Their society runs on basic Christian values, equal rights and justice. - Why they cannot understand the basics that: 2 men cannot make a baby. Gay people 2 women cannot make a baby. Lesbian people. Abortion is KILLING. Thou shalt not kill. There is God. Atheist people. Children should honour their father and mother. - So many spoilt children of broken homes in developed world. These are the problems that whitemen cannot solve today. |

Jeezuzpick:Look, don't mix things up! You claimed we should NOT prospect for oil again since electric vehicle is getting mainstream and Toyota introduced a fuel efficient engine. When I pointed out other countries are still prospecting for oil, you should have just accepted. There is nothing wrong in FG funding the prospecting for oil because FG is always part owner of the oil blocks. For US, the block belongs 100% to investors. And who told you we don't make money from oil? What have we been using to fund the budget? |

mfm04622:I'm not mixing anything up. The future of the world has less and less going for fossil fuels. Private investors may prospect if they feel they can make money, then the Govt performs oversight functions and collects taxes. Our Government has been looking for oil in the North on and off for decades. Do you know that? They have not found any, yet they keep at it. Why is ExxonMobil or Total not doing it? Could it be because there may not be profit enough to make it attractive? UAE turned their economy from oil to tourism. Japan has only electricity in abundance, and they used that to build their nation. We have gold, nickel, coal, iron ore, precious and semiprecious stones, vast arable land, large rivers and a very long coastline, yet the Govt is chasing more oil. The price of oil has fallen, and nations are looking to wean themselves off oil as much as possible, as soon as possible. Why not look at developing our other resources? Oil may be vital for our present as a nation. Can we boldly say it can sustain our future? These questions need answers badly, and soon! |
