The message of Black Panther is the complete opposite of Nollywood.

Nollywood teaches that there is no future in our cultural history.

Africans should key into Black Panther by decolonizing our minds.

The huge amount of ticket sales shows that there is more money to be made from African Cultural imports/exports. Because Black People are coming of Age to re-accept a God in their own Black image.

That is great!

The man identifies with his Igbo ancestry more. Dude has even been to Naija to try to trace his roots.

Black Panther was a super-hero movie adapted from a comic book based on a story of blacks fighting fellow blacks with a white man stepping in at the end to settle the carnage.

If I can infer from that, it means, blacks are an uncivilized bunch engaged in an endless bloodshed till the Europeans enlightened them. Does this remind you of missionary & colonialism in Africa?

Also, Africans who are bright in the head know the movie made money for the white establishment & also, watered down the name/struggles of the Black Panther Party in the Black History in the US.

The movie is pure crap.

I don't like to engage in petty tribal jibes, but to make statement without hard facts is really disgusting. Have you ever heard about Igbo-Ukwu?

Oga have you watched the movie? If yes, did they ever mention that the mask is Igbo? The Bini bronze head was categorically stated when the lady was asked where it was from. Please I know you guys are developing countries, please don’t also develop their culture.

A bittered descendant of fallen Angel.

Mgbedike is an Igbo Mask and they used a version of it in the movie. Research.

Developer from the east, why didn’t the lady state categorically that the mask is Igbo the way she did when asked about the Bini bronze head? Or have you guys developed their culture also? Drug dealer republic.

( 8 ) Agbada

Shaman Zuri played by Forest Whittaker wears ornate flowing robes known as an Agbada. It's one of the names for a flowing wide-sleeved robe worn by men/women in much of West Africa, and North Africa.

Agbada all d way

No sophisticated culture was included, only the very primitive cultures were featured, even Yoruba Agbada and Aso oke weren't there, the "Agbada" featured looks more like Boubou.

Starting 2,500 years ago, we exported philosophical, scientific, technological and theological education to whites and Arabs and they became empowered to invade us over a period of 1000 years.

The writers of Wakanda know this, because many African Americans have discovered our true history, which did not start with slave trade.

Arabic and Hebrew are dialects of ancient Egyptian.

Imagine those terrorists up in the north claiming that western education is bad. No problem. They don't want it but must they be violent and destructive about it?

You are bittered because nobody knows your sufferstikated tribe.

That mask is a version of the legendary Mgbedike mask and it is only the Igbos that use it. It is found in most of the top museums in Europe.

(Mgbe- Time, Dike- Warrior)

We ain't mate. When Yorubas were still experimenting with muds, Ndi Igbo had already successful casted a bronze work of art. It took Ife 400 years to achieve this.

I guess you don't even know this. Research!

Agbada is not even Yoruba. Grabbers. Better concentrate on skull minings and leave the real sophisticated ones to do what they know how to do BEST.
