except if the factory color was cream then It turned brown.

in my 4 yrs in UI, I never saw any hall structure this gross..this revamping is long overdue abeg...

They will fix it - hostels like Indy and Zik were horrible in the 90s and I'm sure they got some financing to fix them. OAU students were the ones typically laughing at UI back then, though most of OAU's Awo Hall has always been in terrible state even at that point. It was horrible.

The lazy students should be made to work as maintenance gangs to keep the structures and environment clean at all times.
Is that not what oyinbos and black students do in America etc

It's so funny how people like to say some kind of things about private universities when like in my school(Landmark University) and our sister university (Covenant) , we are given the best in terms of infrastructure...... There's no day maintenance guys don't work so far as you've filled in what you want them to do at the reception of your hall of residence. And it's just a very simple process sef, just write your complaints. Our schools are really doing well jare, so the hate showed by some is not just worth it.

Nigga, you pay more than a million as school fees. OAU students don't pay up to a hundred thousand. Obviously your infrastructural facilities will be better.

Bro actually I no dey up to 1million for Landmark, and I don't think any department in Covenant currently is up to one million . And when it comes to intellectual prowess, I believe it's left to an individual in as much the person is receiving standard education, but if any federal university student feels private universities like Landmark or Covenant are full of dumb students, then I think the person is only shooting himself in the leg, cos most of our Lecturers, including Professors are mostly products of Federal schools since our schools are still relatively young. I can confidently say sef that we have very standard theoretical and practical resources. There's an example of a guy from my department in my school who left and is presently in FUNAAB studying Mechanical Engineering. He was very sound academically while with us, and even in FUNAAB, he's still one of those leading his department. It's about the person Bro, I'm currently doing my IT,some of my bosses try to wash down my school, but by God's grace, my abilities have been proving them wrong and have succeeded in changing their perception about Private universities that not all are substandard. I can attest to the quality of Landmark, Covenant, ABUAD, Babcock, Bowen sha . Have a nice day Bro.

As per the bolded, that's actually untrue because medical students pay up to 1.5million if not more for fees and everything. Bowen University also pays about 970k, landmark.... I don't know how much you folks pay but I'm sure it would be substantial.

I don't doubt you there are some intelligent people in your university, some of my top peers are attending privates and I know they have something upstairs.
Yet...... on an average, you folks have a very poor track record of winning national and international varsity competitions as well as individual challenges.


Also, if I'm being honest.............you lots are pampered, too pampered for this jungle oF a country

My Bro, for Covenant and Landmark, we never start Medicine and about competition, u know say categories dey and no be every thing we go go but the ones we don go,God dey help us wella, and ẹ̀gbọ́n mi Sir, I know say my own parents and a lot of my guys parent for Private Universities rich, but no be all of us be Ajebo sha.....
