He had to be very very very important. 10 security details attached to one man. Out of a depleted police force of less than 2 million officers. Anyway... What do I know? POLICE: not until we have an incorruptible police force, we are going nowhere. We may still have 1 bad egg in a crate, but the remaining 29 will be able to fish him out. Criminals should never get away with crimes, big or small.
But if the police continue to "babysit" the rich in a relatively safe place like Lagos yet troubled spots in Benue don't even have any police patrol because IG, AIGs, DIGs & co are all corrupt...

POWER: I mean power supply - we have lots of craftmen and entrepreneurs in this country, but erratic power supplies and high cost of alternatives (generators, solar panels & inverters) have frustrated them out of business, hence these frustrations. Constant power supply will cut unemployment by over 75%.

Like Alibaba says, "wetin I know self?".

Anybody can get a police escort as long as you can settle the DPO.
OR
Write a letter to the state commissioner of police alleging threat to life
Or

You can borrow police from a big man friend to do escort for you...

Or you pick a police man on the road as 'lift' since most times they don't have transport money...

Typically Nigerians see Police escort as a sign of importance and supposed arrival or big name.

Nigerian armed forces attached to personal protection details is enormous. Everybody has escort this days. You buy a Range Rover, you have to add an Hilux for some mopol. Blaring sirens everywhere. Even when there's is total gridlock acting like there's one national emergency and you're only going to buy baby's BOBO.

We need to look in the side of private security.
Only top public personnel should use armed forces for protection and should be a minimal number.
