Hello!

Thanks for your input.

Could have made your point without the sarcasm though (writing skills? I don't understand what you're about).

Rental won't cut it. Each to his own please (might sound cocky but the numbers never lie...mostly and I've run them).

I will get a Principal and very soon too.

To every other well meaning commentator, I'm not towing the rental path so kindly stay your comments relative to that (and if you can avoid throwing shades and/or insults at my person or intent, I'll be much obliged. Like I keep reiterating, no one is being forced to give heed to my senseless proposal).

Regards.

Can someone explain what happened with the trip below for me? My driver is a new guy on Uber and he is complaining some amounts don't add up. What could be the problem.

Numbers don't lie, you'll have to show those numbers to prove you can make that amount, not speculations as you've been stating since

This is NIGERIA, if vio or lastma catch you, you now want to be quoting Frsc fine, OYO is your case grin

This will only work for road safety officials
In Lagos state they all ve different charges for different authorities, Lasma once held me sometime last year, for seat belt offense, i ignored anything he said about negotiations, coz am like WTF, so bcoz of seat belt u want me to pay sort you in my street, the mistake I made was going to there office, on getting to there office, I was thinking it’s same price for FRSC this guy posted above, that’s seat belt offense 2k, LASMA own is 20k then you will go for training 10k then everyday ur car spends in there office you will pay 1k. Everything I paid was 35k, not to talk of time wasting, my car spent 3 days there, for 2k I could ve given the guy there and left, now I paid 35k since then no office again.

I just went offline and logged fare review. Definitely changing the damned phone today.

This should be my second or third post on this thread but I think this particular one is necessary

I like your tenacity.

You've pitched this idea in 3 different sections on NL

You have a cumulative of 1,929 views

I understand and appreciate your cockiness

I like your determination

You're so resolved not to 'hussle' to get your goal, you just want to get it the easy way out?

What's the big deal in getting a rental while waiting for a principal?

I think you should consider the under listed

1. Your first post on this issue was on February 17, if you started doing rental then and was saving 20k a week (since you've a target) you should have saved up 60k by now! Half bread is better than donuts. Plus any principal you tell you've 60k and you're currently driving a rental now will definitely take you more serious than your well detailed proposal

2. Experience! Never joke with that. It's on this same platform people are making over 100k a week working barely 10 hours a day.(CC Romeo3 tongue tongue) Some people do almost 14 hours daily and struggle to kiss 80k. grin Doing rental will help you with the learning curve as HP is not beans. If you've driven before, things change daily, eg the new taxify promo

3. Principals understand only one language - money! I must commend your proposal, very articulate, guess what? That proposal, as good as it is won't give you a loan in the bank if you don't have equity contribution. So why should an individual part with hard earned 2m when a bank cannot?
The language principals understand is cash liquid cash not potential! Try and learn it

4. Your cockiness may depict pride. An interested principal can easily confuse your cockiness for pride and guess what? most business men will never do business with 2 set of people a. Anyone who exhibit any atom of pride and people who call themselves pastors, evangelist etc,( am sure we'll know why). In fact, if I've got any car down minimum I will collect as down payment from anyone that's proud is 50% with plenty abeg ooo. So thread carefully

5. Wrong impression
Your responses is giving everyone a wrong impression about you! You might be a very fine young reliable gentleman but your English has masked all that.
Stop the subliminal side kicks in your responses. Try and align your strengths to 'what's in it for the principal'
E-hailing business is pure street!

Finally
You see, some of these principals you want to attract, have cars on rental on Uber/taxify yet, we sold our personal cars (SUVs) and bought Uber compliant cars to make small cash after work and some weekends!
I can't count the no of times I've picked my junior colleagues as riders! Some of the cancel immediately they dial and my no pop up, as far as am concerned, it's all about the Benjamins! I no send anybody!
Imagine gazzuzz with all the money he makes still drives, why?

Nothing beats when you're involved hands on!

Well I took my time to type this very long message because
1. Am on vacation grin and
2. I see you as a great guy who might just have misplaced priorities

Abeg lemme go online I heard the movie Gringo will be in cinema today, lemme set my destination to surulere make rider pay for fuel, ticket and of course pop corn!

Waking up in yaba and steering destination trip to VI is just a waste of destination trips. Drive empty to that lekki and set a destination to ikeja.

If you did not place a destination trip but got a trip from lekki to VI on a 2.0 surge, chop the first one, go offline and drive back to lekki and repeat.

Picked up a rider, at yaba we went to broad street, on dropping him off front of CBN a request came in, I drove straight to the pickup location and called the lady, she said she’s at the back of UBA, I proceeded to her new location, there was a traffic light and a car in front of me, I picked my phone to call her to knw how am going to identify her coz that place is always crowded, when I was dialing the guy in front of me suddenly moved, and me too followed up not knowing the traffic light has not turned green, immediately I stopped, these guys rushed me, entered my car, I done start negotiations they said if I get to there office I will pay 90k and still go for training and go for psychology test too, buh if I want them to let me go I should pay 45k and they will let me go, I knw begging won’t change anything so I told them I had 5k, the almost slap me self for mentioning 5k when there saying 45k last. So we drove to there office side I started talking to one of them, that there’s no need of we going to the office that we can sort everything here, anyway last last I paid 20k till now I ve not gotten my self.
