A few days days after watching popular movie ‘Black Panther’ and paying for everyone at the cinema to watch the movie, Nigerian politician and business man, Atiku Abubakar has after writing a review on the movie talked about getting Nigerians working in order to grow the movie industry. According to the presidential aspirant, he’s excited by the growth of Nollywood but purchasing power to watch the films is a huge problem. He also said that if the government puts the country together again by providing power and checking piracy, more people will be able to watch nollywood films and that would engender the growth of the industry. Read tweets below: ‘Dear ZD, I’m excited by Nollywood’s growth. Purchasing power to watch Nollywood films is a huge problem. If we increase Nigerians’ purchasing power, more cinemas will open, more people will watch films, so Nollywood budgets increase. If we get Nigerians working again, more people will be able to go see Nollywood films and the industry will grow. We also need to check piracy, which diverts revenues from film makers to criminals. Intellectual property owners need to enjoy the fruits of their labour.’ Source: http://dailyleakblog.com/2018/03/08/if-we-get-nigerians-working-again-intellectual-property-owners-will-enjoy-the-fruits-of-their-labour-atiku-abubakar/

Atiku : The man to beat .. I may not like him though but if given the chance he will assemble better technocrat than the grandpas buhari assembled as kitchen cabinet . One of the attributes of good leadership is the ability to assemble smart and intelligent people to help drive your vision .. You could see from his PR team that Atiku will do well unlike the present tenant of Aso Rock .. |

chisomnunu:I as an individual i think that Atiku will make a better president than bubu. He is business oriented, an employer of Labour, he knows the value of education thereby establishing a standard University in his state which also created jobs for graduates. I think he is a man with great prospects, not a religious bigot. |
