My Car Doesn't Start On Time When Engine Is Hot by Omotakins(op): 11:47am On Mar 07, 2018

I realised that when my car- Honda baby boy- is not driven and engine not hot, it cranks and engine starts once I ignite it. However, if driven for a yle and, for any reason, has to be put in park and engine switched off, to start the vehicle thereafter takes a yle. What do I need to do?

Maybe different reasons,. But my rav behaved in such a way for a month. I changed fuel pump (new not toks) and it disappear. I am confidence again to off engine in traffic angry

Try to pull the codes. Also, poor ground connections can cause hard start problem.

yeah had similar experience wit rav4 changed fuel pump (toks ) problem disappear like magic, since almost a year now.

Check fuel pressure. Possibly an issue from your fuel pump area.

YOUR COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR.... HAD SAME ISSUE WITH THAT YEYE BRAND OF VEHICLE.

I haven't scanned it. I will do so probably tomorrow or just go for change of fuel pump. I bought a lot of 'road side' fuel during its scarcity.

Don't throw parts at a car without proper diagnosis. For example, same issue may be as a result of some faulty sensors. It's better you find out before spending money.

And if problem persists after changing fuel pump?
Please, scan and do a fuel pump pressure test before replacing pump.
Don't just throw parts at the problem.
