Proof of financial capacity depends on your tuition fees. One year tuition balance + living cost + travel costs. Example if your tuition a year is 25k and u pay 10k for coe, this means that u have to show an soa of balance of the tuition 15k+ living cost 20k + travel cost 3k totalling 38k and above. Any soa below this amount is not safe bro.Its good practice for the CO to see your tuition deposit deducted from your sponsors soa it shows the said funds are readily available for you.

Because Jetstar only permitted 20kg for check- in luggage i make sure mine was 20kg throughout each airline. However, Ethiopian airlines allows more than that. So please check from them

In darwin not Sydney. Ethiopian airline does not have direct flight to Australia. They connect with Singapore airline to Australia. So check from their offices.

Congrats on your doctorate brother. You can also check SEEK job site, schools advertise postdoc openings on there. Another approach would be to contact Profs/PIs directly, asking whether there will be a postdoc opening in their lab/group soon. Overall, the postdoc market in Australia is very competitive. It is important that one has at least a publication (in a decent journal) from their PhD to even stand a chance. All the best.
