With all these places mentioned, it means the entire Lagos is not safe. But what's my business with such a place when I'd fly from New York to Enugu, send my cargoes to Onne, Port Harcourt, and driven home without chaos.

Hmm Oga the op used the word 'prone', and you must have stayed in these places for you to be confident of your list. Gbagada? Really? I'm surprised you didn't add Nairaland grin

These areas are " prone" too.

Do you see me mention places like ....

Isaac John. ..
Oregun...
Egbeda...
Idimu...
Ikotun..
Festac...
Alausa..
Ogba..
Omole...
Badaore...
Chevron..
Lekki...
Yaba..
Fadeyi...
Palm groove..
Ogudu...
Agric..
Ajegunle..
Cele..
Car wash..
Barracks..
Apongbo...
Stadium..
Maryland..

Etc....

Everywhere is actually prone to crime...but some places are more dangerous than others...

Dont come online to write ...just for writing sake.
I have lived in different parts of Lagos for over two decades .....and overtime people complain about crimes in those areas i highlighted than others.I have also been following security reports of the state..even areas like Lambe,Ojodu Abiodun, Agbado crossing, are also bad areas but they are boundary towns of Ogun state

Between 2005 and 2010 do you know how often cars were snatched in Ist gate Agidingbi? I never lived in Agidingbi, i only drive past and i am always careful when i am passing there at night.

Are you saying Op too has lived in all the places he mentioned? ....If you are a researcher on this topic, and you carry out an epirical study ..then reach a conclusion on it...do you have to live in those areas to know what is happening there?

Most time, international bodies stay in the comfort of their air conditioned offices in USA and other western countries to give you data of your country. Most of them have never been to Africa for the first time and you never doubt them......

If you like add nairaland ,that is your cup of tea.

You forgot the State House of Assembly. That's where the greatest robbery occurs, and is usually in the day time.

You forgot to add that the robbers here are not armed robber but pen robbers, they need no gun- according to Fela, "pen get power, gun not get. If gun dey still 2million naira, pen go steal 2billion naira...You no go hear them shout...Thief thief "

I don't go to Charly Boy much but I think it's just a hasty generalisation. Where else in Lagos has he not mentioned? cheesy

The other side of the road directly opposite the police station has been notorious for years.

Same goes for the you-turn bridge just after the Mobil filling station. Hundreds of cars have been snatched at gun-point on that bridge.

A very shrewd insight only a man on the ground can have. It is one hand washes the other, at the public's expense!

But the roads are been worked on right down to badagry.
After it's completion, the robbery cases there will reduce.
