I've heard some reasons for marriage, some of which are vague and not solid enough for me.
I believe as a born again Christian, there's more to marriage than it being just for reproduction and companionship, something the church always talk about.
Let's reason with these.

If you wish to reason with Paul, be aware that Jesus Christ did not teach any of what you reason there. According to the Gospels,

● Marriage is not of the Kingdom of God. Rather, your marriages are of this world of men. - Luke 20 vs 34 - 38
● Remarriage after a divorce may amount to sin depending on the conditions that precipitated the divorce - Matthew 5 vs 31 - 32, Matthew 19 vs 7 - 9, Mark 10 vs 10- 12, Luke 16 vs 18, Matthew 19 vs 12

Any idea that is contrary to that declared by Jesus Christ in the areas of marriage is not of Jesus Christ and should not be confused with Him.
