Nembe is powered by generators provided by Shell which is supposed to be fuelled every week but the fuelling contract has been converted into a money making avenue for those it was awarded to. Result of which is that 95%of the time people there have to rely on their generators for power. Same can be said for so many other areas like Brass and Akassa which would still have been in darkness had it not been for the intervention of the oil companies. So the question my brother is what development project is the government really undertaking? What do you have to say about the quality of the pot hole filled roads in Nembe and how narrow so many of them are? Have you taken a trip to the jetty there lately? What is your governor doing to enhance the quality and safety of boats people use there? Is it too much to ask for the government to provide a few proper speed boats or ferries to enhance movement of people and goods in comfort and safety at subsidized rates compared to the canoes with outboard machines that people are forced to board at exhorbitant rates every day? If Seriake Dickson committed 1 billion naira to each of the 8 local governments honestly would Bayelsa not have turned to little London by now? How is he even helping to enhance the fishing business in the state which is even the mainstay of local business there? Again I still bring your attention to the Yenagoa to Nembe road... Is it too much for the government to build a proper 4 lane road or even to keep the existing road in good condition Or am I lying about that too?

At least you have admitted that compared to the allocations to the state, the governments both past and present have failed massively
