Okorocha will never be there when important SE issues are discussed. He is too big to be there. He is only interested in Abuja APC issues. Charity begins at home. The agenda will have been sent to him earlier yet he chose to send his deputy. Is this how he wants to sell APC to the SE?

Sori bro, but he spoke the simple truth and it's wats biting u: the simple truth. Can u explain how d ibos who are the most industrious and innovative ppl have th worst infrastructure? I mean the very worst. Talk of electricity, roads pipe-borne water, etc. Why is dat? Their governors who shout discrimination at the federal government do not bother to galvanise their industry potential. Look at Aba. U can't walk major roads and streets without developing skon-skon, due to the terribk dirt and bad roads. To even behold the loads of dirt, via a mobile phone, gives one the hippy-jippies. If the south Eastern states can pursue joint efforts like this, without allowing their in-bred foolishness and greed to dictate their steps, the eastern states wld be d dopest places to go and the economic hub of the country. That's without undermining the agricultural Base in d North. So pls, quit the head-scratching and call a spade by its name.

We need to commend them for such a noble idea and continue to pray for them to actualize it.
If they do, expect greater synergy and progress in the region. There will be healthy competition and ultimately progress.

What hope? Where have you been all these years? Did they the useless governors just now wake up to see their region is fast becoming extinct? How many years do they even have in their "occupation of the governor seat" to even do much of anything else? Okorocha is already sharing the seat with his useless family members.

Well, in case you have amnesia or just started to follow politics, you need to do some research on your own to see your governors are nothing but a bunch of criminals and sellouts..

South East Governors have undertaken to construct a ring road that will cover a total area of four hundred and thirty kilometers.

Addressing journalists at the end of one day meeting of the Governors in Enugu, chairman of the forum and governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, said the ring road would connect all the states of the South East with a view to promoting economic development of the south easts states and for ease of transportation system in the region.

Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, his counterpart in Ebonyi and Abia States, Dave Umahi and Okezie Ikpeazu were present at the meeting while Imo State Governor, Rocha’s Okorocha was represented by his deputy Prince Eze Madumere.

Umahia further hinted that they took presentation for gas Pipelines in the South East and advised the consultants to follow up details of implementation especially as it relates to right of way.



The Ebonyi State governor further told newsmen that the meeting which lasted for several hours commended presentation on Aba Independent Power Project by Prof. Bart Nnaji and asked him to liaise with the Secretariat for further implementation with the presidency.

According to him, the forum directed the five South East States Chairmen of traditional Rulers Council to be invited for amicable resolution of their crisis in their next meeting .

On the burial of the former Vice President of the country, Dr Alex Ekwueme, Umahi said they expressed deep appreciation to the governors and people of the South East for the able way they worked together to give the icon a befitting burial.

“ the south East Governors Forum at its meeting discussed extensively on possible strategies to economic development of the south East and at the end of the meeting resolved as follows

“: to undertake the construction of ring road covering a total area of 430kms, that would connect all the states of the south east , to promote economic development of the south east States and for ease of transportation system in the region” he said.

If this is not a political statement they should have told us the expected routes of the proposed ring. So far all SE state capitals are linked by Federal roads.
