If I had gotten d experience I have now as a jambite, I wouldn't have wasted 5 years in uni plus one year nysc after which I joined d exponentially growing labour MKT to look for job.

My mates that learnt trade after secondary school have all builts mighty houses, married early and are living large.

This girl only needed counselling to avert this suicide.

That's it my brother. I was forming university student then while looking down on them as block heads that could not gain university admission. I didn't know they were building their future while I was wasting mine in university. 2.1 in Engineering and I can barely live a normal life. My secondary school mate that learnt spare parts business has built mansion in his village, built his palatial house in port Harcourt and equally built hostel of 54 rooms near unizik Awka, collecting yearly rent. See sometimes in life we think our problems lies at the area we do not explore. You might have learned trade and still not be Rich. That your friend who learned trade might have gone to school and still be Rich and okay

Hmmmmmmm she acted cowardly,
personally ,i finished my secondary school 2003 but i obtained my o'level 2005 and also wrote my first jamb that same year.
Ever since 2005 till 2011 (7 years ) i had been setting for jamb exams,there was even a year i scored 292 but i was denied admission because of post UME.
The phrase '' you are not a failure until you stop trying '' actually keep me going until i finally got merit admission into an institution i didn't choose during my jamb registration.

Finally when i got admission,i also had a job meaning shuttling both was necessity but interestingly the job was also impacting me with a skill that was relevant and relative to my course of study (mechanical Engr).I graduated 2016 and i also got another job offer immediately i finished my project defence.Now am gainfully employed despite the fact that i have not gone for service beside most of my secondary school class mates that graduated only God knows when, are still unemployed.

LESSONS:
Gods time is always the best because ''it is not he that starts the race finishes well'' and also '' he that laugh last often last best''.

too bad......the problem with us Africans and Nigerians to be precise is that we think school is what gives success and when we fail academically, we see our selves as failures for life.......this girl could have been another chioma ajunwa or mercy akinde, or asisat oshoala or a very successful entrepreneur but she can't now because she failed academically. Our parents still have a lot to do in realising the inborn talents and potentials of their children.....maybe she killed herself because of what her parents or the society might say or do

Why Na, when I first wrote jamb, i did so poorly and I got 176, I didn't kill myself, I jejely went to poly thanks to my dad encouragements and help, the next jamb I did well, dropped out and went to a university. Why can't parents be supportive of their kids? With 163 she can go to poly or COE.



Nothing in this world is worth committing suicide for, nothing at all.
