Kettle calling pot black.

There's no English word as 'grammar'

It is 'grammar'

Go back to the family meeting we had last week about you.

1. You cannot skip your medication
2. Leave Nairaland alone and stop posting anything there
3. Try Getting a job. Smoking weed will damage you irreparably cheesy

Brah calm down, even the south has similar issues, there was a video trending online of a pry sch teacher in edo state who couldnt even spell out her names or so. Im sure you wd find similar cases elsewhere in the south.
This does not take away the fact the education in the North is is considerably lagging behind compared to the South.

But the news here should have been his poor English. Or is it that the Op would have written same if he was in the teacher's shoe?

Harbdulrasaq:
Newshelm Nigeria has come across a post shared by a teacher in Kaduna state.

The Kaduna state teacher who recently got employed by the state took to Facebook to give thanks to God for his newly found job.

The teacher identified as Usman Kabiru thanked God for being offered a job as a state primary school teacher.

He asked God to bless the work.

He said: “Alhamdulillah i have been offer a teacher in subeb as a primary teacher, may Allah bless d work amin.”

It was later reported that new teachers were employed to replace those teachers that were sacked. Kabiru’s new employment could be a result of the recent employment by the state.

Kaduna state is doomed if this is what we have as teachers in the state. Well, we can only make do with what we have.

I think it's because they proudly have their own language, and are not ready yet to discard what's theirs for a borrowed one.

Meanwhile, mind the way you write the word English, the first letter there should always be in upper case...
English is the official language of Nigeria.

We live in a globalized world where English is a dominant language.English is a very required language in the 21st century, so if Nigeria is to be modern it needs to communicate effectively in English. One can keep their own language and still learn English. You supporting the illiterate education that will be given to northern students is really sad. Infact ur in support of the continuous state of the north's backwardness and ultimately Nigeria's

So many avoidable blunders in your writeup. Well, he who comes to equity must come with clean hands.

Spoken/written English is not a measure of someone's literacy, as during the course of my former job, I came across so many Chinese people who could barely express themselves in English, but are technologically enlightened, and can solve the most complex of problems.

The chinese are fluent in their official language. Why shouldn't Nigerians?
