What exactly is tactically and technically??
notice how kante orchestrates move from deep creating spaces for hazard and willian to attack.

Bottom line is that It is is Mahrez's fault. Even commentator talk am. Mahrrez still had all the time in the world to make the right choice but he wanted to go it alone.... End of story.
No one even mentioned the two players he beat in two ball tussles before that moment of the pass.

Icon4s:
That Iheanacho's wrong pass killed a goal bound move. We had about 4 - 5 Leicester players in an advanced position leaving gaps in the middle.

Mahrez tried to manage the situation but was dispossessed and Willian had acres of space having only Ndidi to deal with. A through pass to Morata and Ndidi was beaten to space.

For the first 45 minutes, no player played better than Ndidi.. Even the commentator mentioned it. Kante drove forward but he was not breaking play up, he was not creating chances.. Granted, lots of energy.

Ndidi with a beautiful cross pass for Vardy but Vardy wastes it.... Annoying from Vardy.

They are playing different Roles Sir. Ndidi is covering the Defence Line and he's doing the Job well, while Kante is a Link between the Defence and Attack for the Blues, and he has been outstanding too.
Kante has played very well but i don't agree that he was better in the first half.

He needed support. Iheanacho could have pulled back a little to offer an opportunity for Mahrez to give him a pass.

Well, all these are just in retrospect. Mahrez would take the blame but Iheanacho wasted that goal bound move. It could have been 1-0 for Leicester

What a pass Ndidi!! More of that
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m):
Iheanacho earlier on in the half sent jn a beautiful ball from deep also for Vardy which brought Caballero off his lines and out of his box causing some small confusion as Cabby could only clear as far as Mahrez who didn't do a good job of finding the target from distance with Cabby not back on his goalline.....

But wait ooooo... We dey only analyse Nacho and Ndidi... Is Victor Moses not our own too?? undecided

Simon Eager For Super Eagles Reunion; Expects Tough Poland, Serbia Friendlies
10 March 18, 2018 1:42 pm

Nigeria winger Moses Simon is looking forward to reuniting with the Super Eagles squad on Monday ahead of their international friendlies against Poland and Serbia, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Simon, a regular starter for the Super Eagles, missed the team’s last two games against Algeria in a 2018 World Cup qualifier and Argentina in an international friendly in Krasnodar but says he’s ready to battle for his place again.

“I missed the last two games and I can’t wait to join them in Wroclaw,” Simon told CSN.

“We will try to work as a team as usual to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.
“The games (against Poland and Serbia) are going to be tough and it will put us in good shape and I’m ready to fight for my place.

The 22-year old also added that Gent must be clinical and tactically alert if they are to dethrone Anderlecht to win the Belgian League title this season after they qualified for the play-offs 1.

Moses bounced back to full fitness since a knee injury kept him out of action for eight weeks and told CSN winning the league will make up for their tough campaign this season.

Gent, the 2014/15 Belgian league Champions finished fourth after defeating Genk 2-1 on the final day of the Belgian regular season.

“It’s going to be tough but to win the league we must take our chances and ensure we stay compact in defending.”

Gent will compete alongside Anderlecht, Club Brugge, Standard Liège, Genk and Sporting Charleroi in the Belgian Jupiler League play-offs.

Nacho was not meant to pull back..... He had found Mahrez after exerting his efforts winning the ball off two players. He ran into space behind the defenders and tried his best staying onside... Nacho's position behind the defenders laterally is where Nacho was also before his VAR goal... Remember? Similar scenario...

Mahrez had ample space to exploit that will see him keep the ball or find a better pass but he decided to go find a diamond thru the needle's eye. He made the wrong move and choice. Mahrez's fault it is.

Funny how people will blame Iheanacho for a bad pass, which it was, but won’t blame Mahrez for stupidly trying to take on 3 players and then losing the ball

I predicted very wrongly that KC would never be the first Leicester player to be substituted. I am suprised he has been so outstanding.

Iheanacho ran into space yes but into a tight space giving Mahrez the difficult task of haven to dribble through that cluster of Chelsea players to find a hidden Iheanacho. Mahrez needed support at that time and Iheanacho or any other player ought to have opened up for him.

Mahrez had a choice naa.... He made the very silly decision of trying to wriggle thru three players closing him down already. Nacho opening up further would have meant him going into an offside position which is what he smartly avoided doing. Mahrez had the wide right to exploit but he ignored it and tried to go central into already covered areas.

There is really no other angle in which we can look at this scenario that will see Mahrez not taking the blame for that goal Leicester conceded. He did bring the ball under control despite the slightly hit-behind pass from Nacho. Mahrez blew it on that occasion.

Thank you very much... I was already typing a comment for this but I had to attend to something.

This is it...

Ndidi did well spreading the play to the right and that led to bringing in Mahrez from the wide right.... And now Leicester are back in it. Leicester 1-1 Chelsea... Ndidi and Moses still in Action.
