Alex gazed at the file in his hands. He was trying to concentrate on another case he hard but he kept on thinking about Thandi. His African black queen, with a caramel skin he always longed to touch whenever she was close.

Her reluctance to accept him made him feel bad but he wasn't going to give up, atleast not just yet.

He recalled the conversation he had with Mattie. He had found her home one afternoon when he drove to Thandi 's apartment wanting to pay her a visit but she wasn't yet back from work .

" so whats up with you and my Thandi? " Mattie had asked him after she offered him a seat.

" well, the truth is i like her a lot. I was looking forward to coming to meet her since i first saw her in my brother's magazine. And when i saw her in person, my heart leaped" Alex had smiled.

" okey i see, " Mattie nodded at him.

" so have you told her that?"

" i have , several times but your sister or sorry friend is stubborn" Alex shook his head.

" you can call her my sister its okey. We only have each other and are practically family, so its okey. But one thing i have to tell you is that we have been through a lot Alex. Thandi might have not told you this but she just like myself here we have a rough history with men. Am sure you know that people deal with abuse issues differently and am afraid to say, Thandi has not yet healed. It will take some time and Patience for her to learn to get close to any man especially letting him touch her. You know what i mean right?" She asked him

" i got you clearly Mattie and thank you for telling me this. I somehow understand her fear. But trust me i have the best interest at heart for her and i will try to be as patient as possible" he smiled.

" you seem to be a good person Alex but like i told Joe, i will tell you this. Thandi, Sali and myself are part of each other now. Our friendship has helped us through thin and thick, should you dare make her cry you will have me to answer to" she warned seriously making Alex laugh.

" i hear you Mattie, i will keep that in mind" he smiled and just then Thandi walked in.

He stood smiling at her and she greeted him casually as always making Mattie smile at him and left them alone.

The ringing of his phone snitched Alex from his thoughts. He sighed before pushing his hands in his trousers where his phone was.

" hey brother" he responded seeing Harold's id on his screen.

" am still at the office will come see you at home i guess. Thandi is out yes i was there this morning " he responded hitting a pen on the top of the file with his left hand.

" she has to go back to work ofcourse, bail was granted you need her back man" Alex told his brother on the line.

" will discuss this further when we meet say in 1 hour?" He asked before hanging up.

Alex folded the files and parked the girl's case file in his case standing to leave.

He was almost going out when he saw a lady quickly walking towards his office. Stopping to hear why a stranger probably without any appointment was going to his office at that hour.

" how are you madam and how may i help you?" He greeted the woman and she smiled at him her nice and attractive cologne touching his nose.

" well, my name is Joy Roberts" the lady smiled

" oh i see, any relations with Kelly Roberts?" He shrugged looking at her with suspicion.

" yeah, am glad you know him. Am his wife" she extended her hand to him and he hesitantly shook it. Wondering why on earth she was there to see him given the information he had on her.

" okey, please sit down if you may" he pointed at the chair in front of him walking around to his.

Joy cleared her throat. "Thank you, i came because i saw you and heard that you are the lawyer taking up Mattie and her friend's case. I just want to urge you to step down and let them pay for their crimes. Justice has to be served right? " she paused looking at Alex who was silently listening without any readable expressions.

" yeah you see, that girl killed a man and law demands justice for such. She is evil, am told she somehow can't control her evil and who knows what she will do to other people if let free. Her friends too should be made to pay for hiding a crime " Joy added seriously

Alex smiled before placing his back in the chair. " in short you walked into my office to teach me about justice and morality?" He laughed casually.

" no i didn't say that. I just want you to do the right thing for the good of humanity and our community " she smiled back.

" if not for the respect i have come to give your husband even for the few times i have been around him, i could have pushed you out of my office Madam Joy. Is it justice you want or your rage towards that poor Mattie is making you do this? If you have issues with your husband the best is you sit at home and talk over it. Don't drag innocent people in your messes. " Alex told her off.

" if you knew what that girl did you would know why am doing this. She took away....."

" stop i don't want to hear it. Just leave madam before i call your husband and brief him on your trip to my office " Alex stood up.

" how much? Give me a price " Joy stood up too.

" you are sick, leave my office now!" Alex raised his voice this time around and shamelessly Joy turned to walk away but stopped in her steps looking back at him.

" tell her she will never have him to herself. He married me and am not giving him that divorce " she burst out and walked away leaving Alex shaking his head shocked.

" what was that?" He asked himself lifting his case and car keys. " some women" he shrugged murmuring to himself.

Back at Joe's house, Sali was talking to Joe telling him everything that happened when the deceased man tried to rape her. She explained how Mattie had to suffer terribly to ensure that Kelly kept the secret before he fall in love with her.

" well, am glad you told me about the spirits before and those prayers worked, i was just disappointed that you had left out that detail when you told me everything. But now its setteled. Like Alex has said, the law does not regard spiritual things in line with your case. He will ensure he bases his argument on that and God willing you will be free again" Joe ran his hand on her shoulders as they sat on the carpet in his living room.

" thank you again for being here. I missed you so much, the three days inside the cells was like months. " Sali looked back at his face.

" yeah i know am sorry for not showing up earlier i was confused and hurt. But not to worry we are together now and thats what matters for now. " Joe assured her.

Sali sat up and faced him, " i have something else to ask of you Joe"

" eeh.. okey go ahead" he held her around her neck.

" make love to me" she told him before she could talk herself out of it.

" what? But love i thought you said we have to wait till we are married. " Joe sat back surprised.

" i know what i said Joe, but with whats going on now am so scared we might not end up marrying. What if i go to jail for many years, or maybe your family decides not to accept me after all this. I just want to have a part of you bonded to me so that i can always feel you inside me even when you are far away." Sali explained tears in her eyes.

" babe, come on, don't do that now. Am not going anywhere and i strongly believe you won't go to prison. So please stop okey?" He lifted her chin.

" am scared and i want this, i thought about it and i think am ready my love" she looked in his eyes.

" no my love, no" Joe shook his head placing Sali's face in his palms.

" but why not. Am not a girl anymore?" Her face fall down.

" love, don't get me wrong , you are so beautiful and i swear i have thought of making love to you several times. I just don't want to do it under such circumstances. I don't want it to feel like we saying good bye cause i dont want this to end my love. " he smiled wiping her eyes to remove a cloud of tears in them.

" i want that day to be special for both of us especially you my love. Even when its killing me to make love to you right now, we will have to wait for that perfect time to come. I love you Saliya and very soon am going to make you mine come what may" Joe smiled kissing her slightly.

" i love you too Joe. You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me apart from Mattie and Thandi. You are my everything " she whispered.

" Come here" he pulled her closer letting her sit in between his legs as he leaned his head on the couch behind him.

" so what is it like?" Sali asked

" what?" He asked wrapping his arms around her and burrying his head in her back moving it from side to side as he took in her scent.

" making love " she laughed.

" oh Sali, if you do it with that special person its the most amazing feeling you will ever experience. It creates that bond you will ever remember as long as you live" he answered his head still in her back.

" wow, tell me about your first girl " she smiled placing her fingers in his palm.

" hahaha, am sorry love, am not talking about that. I was young then i don't even remember anything special about her. Lets just say i never loved her. My whole life i never felt for a woman what i feel for you, no wonder i want that day to be extraordinary" he lifted his head.

" okey, can i go home now?" Sali shook to leave his arms after some time, but he pulled her back. " no need to go my love, its late already. Why not spend a night with me here i will drive you home tommorow before work" Joe responded.

" are you sure its a good idea?" She looked at him.

" don't worry i will stay away, as long as you allow me to place your head on my chest as i sleep. Be warned though, My day is coming " he teased laughing.

" okey then let me call the girls before they start worrying" she told him grabbing her phone from the table.

Days later....

Alex had managed to devise a strong defence for the girls. He requested for the records for post mortem that was carried on that man they were accusing Sali of murdering.

He disvovered according to the reports filed in, it was the overdose of drugs that had killed him. The fact that Sali never engaged in a physical fight or anything that was revealed in the report gave him confidence he was going to win the case.

He had spent several days working on the it and now he had a few hours to the next day for the final presentation in the courts of law.

Over the time he become close to Thandi whom he had to keep up to date almost on a daily basis.

Here he was waiting for her to show up with her friends as he was to guide them on the court session to take place the following day.

As he was keeping himself busy with his phone, he heard the sound of soft laughs heading his way and he turned his head in the direction, seeing the girls walking towards him.

Sali in the middle dressed in brown leggings and a loose floral blouse going upto her hips, she wore a wide smile that told him something made her happy.

Mattie was on her right side, in a short dress which was cloud blue in colour and outlined her top part before flowing flayered from her mid waist. Like always she looked more serious but with a more determined face. Her lose curled hair falling on her shoulders.

Alex smiled as his eyes landed on the woman after his heart, Thandi clad in a deep red short that cut her knees and a short sleeved checked shirt which had a bit of red too and mostly blue and black, she finished it off with flat gladiator sandals. Giving her a perfect look in his eyes. Her face was calm but he wasnt sure what that meant.

" hey beautiful ladies!" He called out zooming out of his analysis of the girls as they closed in to him.

" hey Alex!" Sali responded louder than the others.

" how are you doing Thandi ?" He asked after greeting the other gilrs.

" am okey Alex. Been busy with the shows. Your brother has been on me the past week. The thing of covering as much work as i missed the days i was off" she smiled at him.

" always hard working, another thing that draws me close to you my African queen. " he shrugged proudly as the girls laughed except Thandi who looked down and smiled slightly.

"you never stop huh? " she looked up at him and he smiled pulling his chair closer to her. "Until you give me a chance" he responded.

" Alright love birds, enough of the flirting. Lets get down to business its getting late" Mattie cut their little conversation.

" yeah sure" Alex looked away from Thandi.

" before you start Kelly, i have something to say" Sali spoke.

" go on dear, whats up?" He looked at Sali who sat across the table opposite him.

" well, i have good news. I have been so happy the past days and have had good dreams too" she giggled.

Alex looked lost, he didnt understand what was going on with Sali but couldn't help feel she was confident and happy with whatever she had insinuated.

" am totally lost, what has that got to do with me?" He asked with a smile trying to be gentle.

"I know this may sound off Alex, but i have been having dreams of our case. The judge will rule in my favour, i will be set free and my girl's charges completely droped too." She spoke with confidence.

" oh well, that was .. i mean, am sorry Sali its just that, i don't believe in such. I follow the facts and law thats my job. I love the fact that you are being optimistic though. Its a good thing" he smiled not wanting to demoralize them.

" well, you better start believing Alex. I know you have had a rough time finding a woman who trully loves you. Mostly you fall in love with them but none has ever loved you for who you are. You decided to stay away from women until the day you saw a picture of a Zambian model that caught your heart. Every time you saw her pics you felt calm and at peace with yourself. The main reason you rushed back to zambia to get to know her.

Your brother tells you to not get so close to her because she's not so much of your class and her eduacation level is not that expected of the woman you need to have. But you can't fight it even when she rejects you because your heart longs for her everyday. You feel a touch of her dark skin will ease your desires...." Sali smiled at Alex whose mouth was patted hearing a revelation of exactly what he's been through and his feelings for Thandi.

"how , how did you know all that?" Alex asked puzzled.

" well, do you believe now?" She asked laughing this time and Thandi and Mattie smiled too.

" okey Sali that was creepy, i don't know who told you all that but i would like you to tell me how my story ends. Cause am loosing it" he sat up looking at Thandi who shly looked down knowing what he meant.

" well, am sorry. Make your own destiny Alex. I cant tell you that for an obvious reason, where will the funny? if you knew how your tommorow will be? You ought to live through it " she smiled at him and he sat back defeated.

" not fair, Mattie can you please help me out here?" He turned to Mattie.

She smiled and shrugged, " am sorry sweetheart, thats Sali for you. The past days she has given us such theories that drive us crazy cause we were left in suspense as well" Mattie chuckled.

" okey guys lets get to the case already" Thandi chipped in with a heavy sigh.

" there's nothing much to tell you girls, just a few highlights and we are good to go" he looked at her.

Alex told everyone what was expected of them giving them some guidelines on some of the questions they would expect. He told them not to mention anything about Sali's powers in the courts. He emphasised they stuck to the theory of the man trying to rape Sali and her fighting to loose herself from him and he fall down dieing.

Giving their reason of not reporting of being their fear for they were young and had been through a lot. They had no one to trust with it but each other.

He even explained how he was going to use the post mortem results to their defence.

By the time they were done talking, it was past 8pm. They had their dinner there too

" sounds good to me" Sali spoke up as they started standing to leave.

" i know something good will come out of this and am proud of you Alex" she added shaking his hand.

" thanks Sali. You will all be okey and will live your lives freely" he assured them as he shook hands with Mattie to say good bye.

" Alex" Thandi called him slipping her hands in the pockets of her tight shirts.

" yes my Queen, whats up? " he smiled as he zipped the little bag he packed the papers in.

" um am.. i was hoping i talk to you before you leave" she stammered looking at Mattie and Sali who walked to her car parked outside.

" can Mattie or Sali drive?" He asked instead looking at the girls too.

" Sali can, Mattie is still scared of the road" she sighed with a laugh.

" good, can i have the keys?" He extended his hand at her to place the keys on it.

She dropped them in there not knowing what he was up to.

" wait here" he looked at her seriously and she watched as he walked away in his deep blue suit, he was still fully dressed from his work.

" Mattie and Sali, i have a favour to ask of you. Can you drive home without my queen? She said she wants to talk to me and i got to give her the right audience he whispered smiling.

" oh well, i didn't see that coming " Sali responded looking back where Thandi was standing inside back at Mattie.

" yeah, me neither, she s so complicated she couldn't tell us about this. Anyways make sure you bring her home in time Alex. We have a court to face tomorrow" she added throwing the keys she just grabbed from his hand at Sali.

" come on sweety, we have to leave now"

" be careful not to mess this up" Sali warned Alex as she walked around to the driver's seat.

" yeah. Thanks guys!" He raised his hand and walked back to Thandi who looked at him surprised.

" what's going on?" She asked seeing her friends driving away in her car as Alex approached her.

" well, you wanted to talk and am taking you home. We cant stay out here in the cold any more" he shrugged without looking at her face, lest she changes her mind.

They drove in silence and Alex kept stealing glances at her, as Thandi looked right ahead without moving an inch.

"Come on in" he showed her in when they got to his house.

Thandi looked around the house. The room was clean but the couch was messed up with papers and a couple of juice glasses.

" am sorry i didn't expect a visitor, i could have cleaned up" he laughed placing the papers away as he cleared the room.

" its okey" Thandi smiled nervously rubbing her palms together.

" are you okey?" Alex asked seeing she was almost shaking with anxiety.

" am okey thanks " she tried to relax but her nerves felt stiff.

" am not going to hurt you Thandi, i understand what you have been through but i just want you to know not all men are like your step father. You have to open up to love a man. You are too young to close yourself up to love." Alex spoke keeping a distance from her.

" i went to see my step father a couple of days ago" Thandi started.

" why?" Alex looked at her with curiosity

"I wanted to start over Alex, i lived my life under he's shadows. Scared of thoughts of him everyday i was going crazy inside. I have to work with the public who expects me to be smiling everytime. You are right, i needed to stary healing and over time i realised as long as i was still scared of that man and what he did to me i wouldn't achieve that. " she explained trying to contain her tears.

" so what happened ?" He moved closer now and was glad she didn't flinch away.

" i found him, as always he wanted to start speaking ill of me saying he heard stories of me posing naked in magazines and that i was just a prostitute now." She told him recalling the details of her visit to where her step father was back in the shanty compound.

" i was so mad at him i felt like grabbing his neck and strangling him to death thanks to my friends who had accompanied me.

I however told him my pains, i told him how much i suffered in his hands in front of the cops and victim support unit. I had to and i felt bad i had no remorse when they led him away for a sentence in prison after he agreed to the charges levied against him"

" wow, Thandi i don't know what to say" Alex sighed when she was done explaining her face covered in tears.

" i hope you feel better now" he added.

" yeah i actually do. Even though that will not bring back part of me that i feel was lost back then, am just glad he will some how pay for his sins" she shrugged.

" thank you for telling me this Thandi. To be honesty i didn't expect it, but am so happy you decided to let me in on this. " Alex told her with sincerity.

" i only have one more thing to do though. " she stood up making Alex face up to her.

" what's that?" He asked

" i want you to tell me the truth. Was there any truth in what Sali said?. What is it you feel for me?" She asked him without letting go of the sight of his eyes.

" yes Thandi everything Sali said, even though i still dont understand how she knew, plus many other feelings are held up here in my heart for you. I have not been lucky with love and i was hoping you might be the one to help me end this search. I love you Thandi even when it hurts you push me away, i still feel i have to fight and endure more till you see that truth in me" he smirked without moving from his position.

" well, one more task to do then we will decide what follows" Thandi spoke pulling down her short as Alex watched puzzled.

" i want you to tell me the truth Alex, i have never looked at myself down there in years and today i want you to look at ke and tell me if am damaged or not. I fear you will run away for seeing the damage i feel that man did to me. So please be honesty with me and tell me. If i am damaged then please run away from me. I know the HIV testing i did was negative so this is my last test" Thandi cried removing all her clothes and remaining nude standing in front of him.

Alex looked at her as she closed her eyes patting her legs and standing straight before him.

" oh my God!" He let a scream making her open her eyes quickly .

" what? Am i...?" She panicked expecting the worst.

" what is it Alex " she asked as he stood to her.

" oh my Queen, you are perfect. You are the most beautiful thing my eyes have ever seen. You are perfect everywhere!" He smiled rubbing her cheeks.

" are you sure?" She asked him.

" am 100% sure Thandi. You are... oh God, you are making this hard for me. I want you so bad now." He whispered placing his lips on her cheek bone.

Thandi looked at him so close and for a moment forgot her fears. It felt right being so close to him. She had never anticipated that day to come when she would get that close to someone.

Alex pulled her closer not breaking his gaze from her eyes. " Are you okey?" He asked slowly sliding his hands on her back..

" yeah. I think so, it feels so good when you do that" she smiled

" when i do this?" He asked sliding his hands gently again.

" are you sure of this Thandi, can you do it with me tonight or..." he was almost asking but she pulled him back into a kiss.

" promise it won't hurt" she whispered breathing heavily as her emotions raised.

" i promise, Just tell me when you feel uncomfortable i swear i will stop" he whispered back lifting her to his bedroom.

After some minutes, he held her face, " thank you for allowing me to be part of you Thandi. I love you." A smile curved on his mouth.

"Did i hurt you?" He asked.

" no, i had no idea there was such goodness in the world. Whatever you did i loved it and i don't feel scared anymore. " she smiled drawing her forefinger around his face.

" do you love me?" Alex asked her.

" Alex, i ...i .i" she stammered.

" its okey, don't tell me now my queen. I don't want to push you.

" thank you Alex. " Thandi sighed kissing his lips.

" Mattie and Sali, i have a favour to ask of you. Can you drive home without my queen? She said she wants to talk to me and i got to give her the right audience he whispered smiling.

" oh well, i didn't see that coming " Sali responded looking back where Thandi was standing inside back at Mattie.

" yeah, me neither, she s so complicated she couldn't tell us about this. Anyways make sure you bring her home in time Alex. We have a court to face tomorrow" she added throwing the keys she just grabbed from his hand at Sali.

" come on sweety, we have to leave now"

" be careful not to mess this up" Sali warned Alex as she walked around to the driver's seat.

" yeah. Thanks guys!" He raised his hand and walked back to Thandi who looked at him surprised.

" what's going on?" She asked seeing her friends driving away in her car as Alex approached her.

" well, you wanted to talk and am taking you home. We cant stay out here in the cold any more" he shrugged without looking at her face, lest she changes her mind.

They drove in silence and Alex kept stealing glances at her, as Thandi looked right ahead without moving an inch.

"Come on in" he showed her in when they got to his house.

Thandi looked around the house. The room was clean but the couch was messed up with papers and a couple of juice glasses.

" am sorry i didn't expect a visitor, i could have cleaned up" he laughed placing the papers away as he cleared the room.

" its okey" Thandi smiled nervously rubbing her palms together.

" are you okey?" Alex asked seeing she was almost shaking with anxiety.

" am okey thanks " she tried to relax but her nerves felt stiff.

" am not going to hurt you Thandi, i understand what you have been through but i just want you to know not all men are like your step father. You have to open up to love a man. You are too young to close yourself up to love." Alex spoke keeping a distance from her.

" i went to see my step father a couple of days ago" Thandi started.

" why?" Alex looked at her with curiosity

"I wanted to start over Alex, i lived my life under he's shadows. Scared of thoughts of him everyday i was going crazy inside. I have to work with the public who expects me to be smiling everytime. You are right, i needed to stary healing and over time i realised as long as i was still scared of that man and what he did to me i wouldn't achieve that. " she explained trying to contain her tears.

" so what happened ?" He moved closer now and was glad she didn't flinch away.

" i found him, as always he wanted to start speaking ill of me saying he heard stories of me posing naked in magazines and that i was just a prostitute now." She told him recalling the details of her visit to where her step father was back in the shanty compound.

" i was so mad at him i felt like grabbing his neck and strangling him to death thanks to my friends who had accompanied me.

I however told him my pains, i told him how much i suffered in his hands in front of the cops and victim support unit. I had to and i felt bad i had no remorse when they led him away for a sentence in prison after he agreed to the charges levied against him"

" wow, Thandi i don't know what to say" Alex sighed when she was done explaining her face covered in tears.

" i hope you feel better now" he added.

" yeah i actually do. Even though that will not bring back part of me that i feel was lost back then, am just glad he will some how pay for his sins" she shrugged.

" thank you for telling me this Thandi. To be honesty i didn't expect it, but am so happy you decided to let me in on this. " Alex told her with sincerity.

" i only have one more thing to do though. " she stood up making Alex face up to her.

" what's that?" He asked

" i want you to tell me the truth. Was there any truth in what Sali said?. What is it you feel for me?" She asked him without letting go of the sight of his eyes.

" yes Thandi everything Sali said, even though i still dont understand how she knew, plus many other feelings are held up here in my heart for you. I have not been lucky with love and i was hoping you might be the one to help me end this search. I love you Thandi even when it hurts you push me away, i still feel i have to fight and endure more till you see that truth in me" he smirked without moving from his position.

" well, one more task to do then we will decide what follows" Thandi spoke pulling down her short as Alex watched puzzled.

" i want you to tell me the truth Alex, i have never looked at myself down there in years and today i want you to look at ke and tell me if am damaged or not. I fear you will run away for seeing the damage i feel that man did to me. So please be honesty with me and tell me. If i am damaged then please run away from me. I know the HIV testing i did was negative so this is my last test" Thandi cried removing all her clothes and remaining nude standing in front of him.

Alex looked at her as she closed her eyes patting her legs and standing straight before him.

" oh my God!" He let a scream making her open her eyes quickly .

" what? Am i...?" She panicked expecting the worst.

" what is it Alex " she asked as he stood to her.

" oh my Queen, you are perfect. You are the most beautiful thing my eyes have ever seen. You are perfect everywhere!" He smiled rubbing her cheeks.

" are you sure?" She asked him.

" am 100% sure Thandi. You are... oh God, you are making this hard for me. I want you so bad now." He whispered placing his lips on her cheek bone.

Thandi looked at him so close and for a moment forgot her fears. It felt right being so close to him. She had never anticipated that day to come when she would get that close to someone.

Alex pulled her closer not breaking his gaze from her eyes. " Are you okey?" He asked slowly sliding his hands on her back..

" yeah. I think so, it feels so good when you do that" she smiled

" when i do this?" He asked sliding his hands gently again.

" are you sure of this Thandi, can you do it with me tonight or..." he was almost asking but she pulled him back into a kiss.

" promise it won't hurt" she whispered breathing heavily as her emotions raised.

" i promise, Just tell me when you feel uncomfortable i swear i will stop" he whispered back lifting her to his bedroom.

After some minutes, he held her face, " thank you for allowing me to be part of you Thandi. I love you." A smile curved on his mouth.

"Did i hurt you?" He asked.

" no, i had no idea there was such goodness in the world. Whatever you did i loved it and i don't feel scared anymore. " she smiled drawing her forefinger around his face.

" do you love me?" Alex asked her.

" Alex, i ...i .i" she stammered.

" its okey, don't tell me now my queen. I don't want to push you.

" thank you Alex. " Thandi sighed kissing his lips.

A week later....

Mattie sat outside on the small varander lost in thoughts. Her heart was bleeding and her mind still clouded with painful thoughts.

She went back to sone days past.

The court case for the girls was over, as planned Alex passed them through the court session with experties and determination. Presenting every detail of his findings. The issue of witchcraft he called irrelevant according to the law, justifying the death of the man with the post mortem results of the result of death being drug overdose. He defended the girls of hiding the truth given the circumstances of their lives and the fact that they were all minors who were unguided and alone. After all this, the judge rulled in their favour and dismised them declaring them free of all charges.

The girls were beyond excited. They jumped, hugged each other and cried tears of joy after the judge left. It was a happy moment for them which was however short lived.

Immediately they walked out, accompanied by Alex, Joe and Kelly, they held a min celebration at the apartment.

" excuse me babe, can i see you outside?" Kelly had called Mattie aside.

" of course Kelly" she sighed standing up and following him outside.

" what is it ? You dont look yourself this afternoon again." She asked concerned seeing his facial expression.

" am sorry Mattie, but i have to go home now. I just received a call from the guard that Joy has gone crazy throwing things all over the house. She' s breaking things in the house. " Kelly told her.

" oh my God, i told you staying with me last night was not a good idea" Mattie frowned.

" if you have to know the truth right now my love, its the fact that i dont regret an inch making love to you last night. It was the best moment of my life having done it with your concert. So please don't ever think i will regret that just beacuse that crazy woman is running mad. Come what may, am leaving her" Kelly smiled at Mattie holding her face up as he talked.

" what now?" She asked looking into his eyes.

" am going to see her, i already signed the papers and Kelly who is my lawyer called her to sign too. After warning her of how complicated the issue would be if she refuses, Kelly manged to convince her to sign them and she was supposed to park out yersterday. The more reason i spent a night away from home.

I made love to you as a free man my babe" Kelly chuckled still holding her face.

" so stop feeling guilty of anything," he added .

" well am worried about you and the truth is that i don't want you to leave me alone here. These love birds are busy with each other and..."

"Say no more babe, come on, lets go together. Am just going to make her leave my house and all will be well. You can remain outside in the car when we get there" he smiled pulling her to the car.

" but Kelly, wait, i have to say bye to the girls " Mattie stepped back a little.

" well, what are mobile phones for?. Dont disturb them now, you will give them a call on our way" Kelly pulled her away.

They drove to his house chatting and laughing. Mattie somehow felt bad about his divorce and what people would say about her being with a married man after his divorce, but he kept assuring her.

She recalled the previous night, when he knocked on her door. She was already in her night gown. " what are you doing here Kelly?" She asked him.

He didn't say anything, but pulled her into a kiss. He murmered something about him being free finally but she was already lost in passion as he pulled her to her bed. That was the same night Thandi went with Alex.

In minutes they were tangled in her bed and thats how he spent the rest if that night with her. Now looking at his smiling and happy face as he addressed her made her feel whole again. She wondered why she so much loved him when in actual sense she was supposed to hate him.

" stay here am coming" Kelly spoke bringing her out of he thoughts as they drove inside his yard.

" yeah be careful" she sighed receiving the kiss he elwas planting on her lips.

She watched him walk to the front door and could hear Joy's voice screaming and throwing things inside as he opened the door. Her heart skipped when she heard Kelly's voice shouting and yelling some minutes later.

" put the gun down Joy!" She heard Kelly's voice and a gun shot followed afterwards, immediately she stepped out of the car.

As she went to te door she kept hearing Sali's voice in her heard, " you are going to be happy because you will have part of kelly with you. But i don't see him around you for long." Mattie had tried to figure out what Sali meant but she couldn't.

Now she felt a grip of fear cloud her heart at the thought.

" hahahaha ! oh so you decided to embarrass me further by bringing this maid to my house!" Joy yelled seeing Mattie walk in on them. She was holding a pistol aiming at Kelly, threatening to kill him.

" Joy i said stay in the car dammit!" Kelly yelled with fear in his eyes.

" i heard the screaming and the gun shot." She murmered scared at the sight of Joy's face.

" well, am going to finish this after all. You thought i will let you go free after promising me forever? I could have forgiven you if that jerk Ian didnt dump me for another woman. After telling me he loved me for years. But you see, i can't just have nothing. Atleast i had something with you Kelly in this pathetic marriage. I had people' s respect and all the money i needed. Now that you dumped me too, am going to make you pay!" Joy yelled angrily.

" please Joy lets talk about this, put the gun down" Kelly tried to beg.

" oh yeah! Now you want to talk Kelly, i begged you not to divorce me but you didn't listen. Well why not kill the cause of all this right now" she turned the gun at Mattie.

" stop this Joy, think of your child" Mattie cried.

" stop talking stupid! Stop talking !" Joy screamed at her holding firm the gun in her hands.

" Joy please! " Kelly moved slowly towards Mattie as she kept bickering and crying over all the things which had gone wrong in her life.

" okey, okey i will not kill her if you tell me the truth right now" Joy sighed calmly.

" okey?" Responded Kelly.

" if i let her go? Are you promising to leave her and stay with me?" She asked smiling.

Mattie looked at Kelly and nodded her head to him. " say yes" she patted her lips looking at him, seeing how serious and pissed Joy was.

Kelly shook his head at her like saying no i won't.

" yes he will Joy, i won't allow him near me i promise " Mattie cried instead before Kelly could respond.

" you are not saying it Kelly. You are letting her lie to ne and this ends now!" Joy pointed a gun at Mattie and before mattie could realise what was going on she fired the gun.

Mattie was stunned confused as the loud gunfire rung in her ears she closed her eyes with fear. She was almost sure the gun had landed on her but when she opened her eyes to look, there was blood all over her clothes but she didn't feel any pain.

Her eyes went to the floor and she was stuck with shock seeing Kelly's body laying down in a pool of blood. He was dead.

" oh my God you killed him Joy!" She screamed crying as she bent to shake him.

" Kelly wake up please," she shook him but he was gone.

" you did this you fool, if you had not taken him away from me he could be alive!" Joy cried pointing her finger at Mattie her other hand still holding the gun.

" you are mad ! How could you!" Mattie yelled blood all over her hands as she held Kelly's dead body.

" no, no. You are going to Prison for killing my husband Mattie, yes" joy stood straight wiping tears from her face. " you will pay for everything" she smiled wickedly.

Fortunate enough for Mattie, the police rushed in at the scene. And immediately ordered Joy to drop the gun. She assumed the guard called them after the first gun shot.

Mattie was still in shock as she watched them lead Joy away in handcuffs and pulled out Kelly's dead body to the open van.

" oh my God! Sweety are you okey?" Thandi and Sali ran towards her immedaitely they reached their. She had made a quick call to them and the four of them came rushing. Joe ans Alex were talking to the police.

" he took a bullet for me, he died because of me. I should have pushed him away from my life. Maybe he couldn't have died like this" she cried as her friends held her.

" its all my fault, its all my fault " Mattie sobbed without control.

" stop now Mattie, Kelly loved you and we all know how much he followed you around. Stop blaming yourself for this sweety, its not your fault" Sali held her closer.

" we have been through a lot already. I was just beginning to be happy, but now he's gone. I swear if i knew she will kill him i could have stopped him from ever seeing me. Oh my God, i miss him already" Mattie sobbed heavily as her friends cried with her too.

" Mattie! Mattie!" Thandi called out bringing her back to her senses.

" Mattie come on, its been over a week now. You cannot keep like this sweety, he wouldn't like to see you like this. He's gone and its time you started living normal again. " Thandi sat next to her as she kept her gaze on the floor before her.

" am okey Thandi" Mattie spoke softly.

" no you are not sweety, you barely take care of yourself, you cry almost all the time and won't go back to your business yet. "

" what do you want me to tell you. He died because of me. He could have..."

" okey stop now Mattie, " Thandi scolded cutting her short.

" stop blaming yourself for that man's death. He loved you no wonder he took a bullet for you. Am sure wherever he is he would want you to live a happy life and not put all the blame on yourself. Joy is in jail serving a sentence for killing him and thats it. So come on and eat something now you need to be strong" she added patting her hand.

" i miss him so much. I never loved anyone the way i love him" Mattie shook her head.

" i know my love, i know. Now come on lets get you inside. We love you too and we are here for you. I promise it will get better" Thandi tried to smile.

2 months later.....

Sali was busy trying out the dresses for her wedding, they had agreed to get married with Joe after the case was over.

Even though, Joe's parents seemed reluctant to accept her. They had no choice with their son insisting he loved Sali.

" how is this?" Sali walked out turning around for Thandi and Mattie.

" wow! Thats a perfect dress for you sweety. It fits you perfectly. " Mattie stood up turning Sali around for a better look.

" really? You think so too?" Sali smiled looking at Thandi.

" ofcourse, it gives you a tight look sweety i love the way your boobs are lifted. Joe will go crazy seeing you!" Thandi smiled at her.

" well its settled then" Sali looked at the sales lady.

" excuse me" Mattie rushed out making her friends look at her as she ran to yhe ladies room.

She came looking pale and weak.

" Mattie sweety, whats wrong you look pale" Thandi asked walking towards her and before she could answer she fall down collapsing.

" Sali come see Mattie!" Thandi called out to Sali who was taking off the wedding dress.

" what happened? " Sali rushed to them panicking.

" i don't know she just walked in looking pale and the next thing she falls down" Thandi panted.

" come on lets lift her to the car, we need to take her to the doctor immediately" she told Sali.

" she's been too stressed of late" they told the Doctor after arriving at the hospital. They sat waiting as Mattie was being attended to.

The doctor walked out later on and called them in. " is she okey?" They asked worried.

" she's still a bit weak but she's okey," the doctor responded.

" what is wrong with me Doctor" Mattie spoke up as she lay on the bed.

" i have been feeling nausea of late, and i feel so weak" she complained as Sali held her hand sitting on the bed with her.

" not to worry, you will be okey. The test results shows you are 8 weeks pregnant, that explains the abnormal feelings you have had." He smiled at her.

" what did you say?" Mattie sat up shocked.

" i said you are pregnant Matilda." The doctor repeated calmly with a smile.

" no ways!" Thandi raised her voice.

" Doctor, can you just say the truth cause thats not possible" mattie spoke tears forming in her eyes.

" why not?" The doctor asked her.

" i can't get preganant cause i was told my womb was damaged and i would never have kids" she told him.

"Well i dont know who told you or what happened but here is the test results from the lab and i can assure you its accurate." The doctor sighed.

" I told you Mattie, You won't be with Kelly but he left a part of him in you. That child will be a way of God giving you back what you have lost so far" Sali smiled happily.

" my God am pregnant, do you guys know what this means?" She shouted tearly.

" i have my Kelly back, oh God he's come back for me ! He's part of my life forever!" She exclaimed laughing with tears in her eyes.

" of course he is now. Am so happy for you Mattie. Its been a while since i saw you laugh. You deserve this miracle " Thandi said excited.

Everything in life happens for a reason. We meet people for a certain God ordained purpose. For some people its for a long time, they see us through life's happiest moments or the most defeaning times. In times of hope and despair they stand by us. They become a part of our thoughts and lives, a day can not pass without their existence being spoke of either directly or indirectly in our daily activites because it is in the very nature of our lives that we are bound and connected.

One of such deep connected friendship is what existed between Thandi, Mattie and Sali. The more challanges they faced, the more bound they become and the stronger they grow in love for each other. There was nothing to dispute their bond, it was undisputed so was their endurance in lifes most difficulty times.

As the girls did their make up in readiness for Saliya's wedding which was on in a couple of hours, there was no explaining the joy each one of them was feeling.

Sali was marrying the love of her life. The man that had not only become her friend but one who would move distances with her and for her. Se knew Joe loved her with everything she was. A man who accepted her for who she was with all her weaknesses.

" how are you feeling sweety?" Thandi asked looking at Sali from the wide mirrow in front of them as the hair dressers did the final touches on their hair.

" i don't know how to explain it. I feel so excited and happy at the same time scared that this kind of happiness is imposible. I fear someone might woke me up and tell me its all a dream and there is no such man as Joe" Sali said with an honesty smile.

" well, you better snap out of it Sali, Joe is a real man and he is waiting for you at the alter, he loves you and nothing of such sort as an end to a dream will come your way. " Mattie spoke rubbing her stomac unconsciously as she sat on a stool away from the mirrow. She had ready and all prepared as they had attended to her first before Thandi.

" yeah, i wonder if that is meant for me or you referring to yourself" Sali laughed pointing at her as she went on rubbing herself.

" well partly its my own way of assuring myself. I carry the most precious gem inside myself, each day i woke up i feel like am living a dream. There is no way of explaining how happy i feel carrying Kelly' s child" she smiled widely.

" you deserve that sweety i always tell you. Who could have known that this day would come huh? When my Sali would be getting married to the most handsome and loving man alive.

Matilda would carry a child for Kelly, may his soul rest in peace, a child who will not only comfort her but will make my Mattie complete" Thandi raised her hands.

" and that Thandi, would become the top model of the country, dating one of the most intelligent and hot looking lawyer of the town." Sali added looking at Thandi.

Thandi smiled standing up and taking some flirty steps to and from as she spoke.

" say that again my love, my joy can not be overated, am so happy, i fall in love with Alex sometimes it hurts just to think of him when he's not with me. " she laughed as everyone else joined her.

" thats my girl, you deserve that too." Mattie shouted clapping her hands.

" i feel bad talking about our men though, you derseve one good man too and i pray to God for you find another one soon. You are still young...."

" hey stop Thandi!" Mattie raised her hand at her.

" who needs a man in my condition? Besides whatever love i had experienced with my Kelly was enough to last a life time. I don't feel i will ever love again. Besides i will be too busy taking care of my baby here till she or he grows up" Mattie shrugged.

" talking of men," Sali added

" i saw how Noah was eyeing you at the rehearsal sessions the past weeks. That guy is into you girl and it seems he can't even notice you carrying a child there. " Sali looked at Mattie.

" what? Oh no he didnt, you just exaggerating!" She shook her head chewing on the pizza piece she had ordered earlier.

" Sali is right, Noah seems to be a good guy though, he's neat and dark. Being friends with Joe is an added advantage" Thandi said with a laugh.

" mmmmm dream on ladies i like the way you match making us right now. He's only my dance partner and nothing else." Mattie spoke her mouth full.

" easy up on that pizza Mattie, you don't have to fill yourself so much before going to dance today! " they laughed.

" excuse me Sali , its time you wore the dress, we are a few minutes out. You dress up too girls we need to move the men are waiting" came the matron's voice interrupting yhe girls.

" yea sure Matron. Go on help our bride, we will dress up too!" Mattie wipped her hands standing up.

After 30 minutes they were parked outside the church. Thandi and Mattie were the braids maid clad in pink flayered dresses that went up to their knees and black wedges of medium heels. Alex and Noah who was Joe's best friend were the groom's men.

Sali was silent as she sat awaiting for the matron to tell her to go ahead inside. She was to walk in with the girls as she had no relative to take her.

" okey Sali you can come out now. The girls will be ahead of you" the matron told her.

She stepped out and her eyes went towards the entrance. " oh my God! Mama!" She almost screamed seeing her very own mother standing their all dressed up ready to take her in.

" i don't understand... i " she stammered shocked.

" well my love, your mother is alive and is here. We wanted to surprise you!" Thandi spoke smiling.

" mama!" She cried hugging her mother and crying at the same time completely puzzled.

" my baby am so glad to finally meet you after years of searching. You look so beautiful like a princess you are" her mother exclaimed with joy.

" i missed you so much mama. You have no idea how much i wished to see you again. i thought you were dead and i ....."

" its okey my baby. We will have all the time to talk later this is your moment and that wonderful and good man is waiting" her mother smirked wiping away the tears in her eyes.

" but i dont..."

" its a surprise your man wanted for you. He told us not to say a word. Joe went to look for your mother weeks ago, he followed your story and went back to Chongwe. It took time but am sure he will tell you of that too. We met your mom two days ago and we prepared her for the wedding. " Mattie explained to Sali who shook he head tears of joy in her eyes.

" yeah we wanted your day to be so great and memorable and it wouldn't have beem complete without your dear mother" Thandi added wiping her tears.

" you girls are ... you are crazy to have kept this from me she laughed amid tears. I will get you both for this" she teased hugging them.

" we love you Sali and we are here to see you have your happiness complete" they told her .

The matron cleared her throat..." girls can we be moving now" she patted Sali's face to cover the wetness.

" ofcourse" they smiled and Thandi and Mattie walked ahead with Sali's mother holding Sali and smiled at her as she led her inside.

Sali kept looking at her mother and smiling,

As they walked in the bells ringing, and later on the song by Shania Twain 'from this moment' played softly, Sali looked ahead at Joe. A perfect gentleman dressed in a white suit with a pink balltie that matched the ribbon on her shoulder of her one hand wedding dress that fitted her breasts and fall down to her feet.

She couldnt help love him more. " how posible are you my love?, you took the trouble to look for my mother just to make sure this day is complete for me?" She whispered when she was handed to him and he held her hand close facing the man of God who was to bless their marriage.

" i wanted it all for you. I had to try to find the missing piece in your life and now i know its all there. I was convinced your mom was still alive i had to try find her, I love you" he smiled whispering to her as the pastor indicated for the music to be stopped and the people gathered to take their seats.

The pastor went on preaching about the sacredness of marriage, how the couple ought to take care of each other and serve God for their marriage to sustain. He told them the greatest gift of God to man kind was the gift of love. For in love is the centre of humanity. He told them, nothing was impossible with love and that it is the pillar to guide them through all their troubled and happy times.

After the vows he pronounced them husband and wife and Thandi and Mattie smiled with joy and tears in their eyes as they watched him hold her and kiss her with pure love and passion.

Sali's mother cried through most of the session. The happiness she was feeling inside for her only daughter who she knew had endured a lot to be were she was taking her breath away.

" they are perfect together. " Mattie wiped a tear from her eyes.

" yeah they are." Noah who stood close to her whsipered with a smile.

Mattie looked at him and he smiled widely showing off his white teeth and his dark face so calm. " you look beautiful Mattie. " he chuckled

" thanks, you not bad yourself" she smiled back and held her stomach again making Noah look down at her hand and smiled.

" how far long?" He asked

" what? Who told you... or i know, Joe" she sighed.

" well he did but i knew before hand, am a medical doctor" he smiled

" okey, almost 4 now" she shrugged.

" great" he responded looking up as the bride and groom walked out and they stepped forward following them, Thandi and Alex walked behind them too.

The after math was so wonderful and well prepared, some invited guest danced at the centre of the wall as the groom and bride had their moment too.

Alex pulled Thandi close and smiled in her face. " what?" She asked seeing he kept smiling at her.

" i love you Thandiwe, your looks this evening are killing me i feel like taking you away to my bed right now" he teased.

" mmmhmh you are too much my man, you look so sweet too i can't help feeling jealousy of the girls who keep on eyeing you." She laughed as they danced.

" what are you doing babe?" She asked when she saw him walk to the front.

" no he won't " Thandi looked at Mattie

" what now?" Mattie laughed.

" i was just joking about the girls and ....." she couldn't finsih her sentence and Alex spoke in the mic.

" may i have your attention please!" He smiled as everyone went silent the music stopping in an instance.

" i would like you people to help me. I have found the most beautiful woman and she's in the house today. Even though i have been with her for a few months, i know she is what makes me complete. Today my man Joe has taken a bold step to be with the woman he loves. And am greatly inspired, i thought well, if my fellow man can be so fearless to make a commitment, why can't i when i cannot stop dreaming about my woman even when she belongs to me." Alex looked at Thandi who was smiling widely at him.

" help me to beg this woman, Thandiwe, the love of my life to marry me!" He shouted and every one turned to look at Thandi.

" My caramel, my susunshine, will you marry me?!" He shouted raising the Gold ring up in the air towards her.

Thandi felt stationed , she was speechless and lost of words.

" say yes! Say yes!" Sali shouted followed by Mattie and everyone in the room joined in the shout. " Say yes! Say yes! Say yes! " they clapped.

Thandi smiled her face wet now, she walked to him shaking her head she couldnt contain her joy." Yes i will marry you Alex, i love you" she whispered but loudly and he stood placing the ring on her finger before kissing her.

" Thank you babe, thank you" he lifted her as people clapped and the music played on as the girls gathered together, the three of them having their moment. They laughed and smiled and the beaming joy shone on their faces everyone could see it but none of them understood how deep their joy had gone.

" love, i don't know what to say for what you did for my mother, seeing her was a great miracle i thought she was dead. The truth is i was scared all these years to even think of the possibility that she had survived." Sali told her husband as they got together in the hotel room they had booked for their honeymoon.

After the wedding she had had talked to her mother who told her everything that happened and how she survived. The girls decided Sali's mother stayed on with them as Sali went on her honeymoon.

" come here my love, it's nothing really. I had to make sure i tried to make you happy and am so glad you have her back." Joe pulled her close to him.

" i have always been happy with you and even if you had not found her i stil would be happy with you but thanks anyway. " she smiled.

" what?" He asked her as he noticed her uneasiness.

" am am... i "

" i know, come on don't be scared. Am not gonna hurt you" he laughed placing her face on his hands .

" i looked forward to this day, now here i am not knowing what to do" she chuckled narrowing her eyes.

Sali was in a towel, she had taken a shower after they arrived. Looking at Joe's now bare muscline chest made her feel nervous of the obvious.

"Dont worry, you will know everything and its gonna be worthy the wait" he responded pulling off the towel. He lay her down the bed gently engaging in a passionate kiss.

Joe took time making his wife have a memorable time. She felt so delicate in his arms and with gentleness he took her to distances of pleasure and passion. Making her want more of him, he knew he had it all right.

The first seemed a but challenging he noticed she seemed tense and flinched as he tried to enter her for the first time ever getting were no man had before.

But the times after, came out easier and better, her body felt belonging to his and he knew it was the beginning of many years to come of experiencing emmerse pleasure and passion.

Sali looked at Joe's face afterwards, she felt complete and bound to him. His half closed eyes looked at her and he smiled.

" it was worth the wait right?" He asked.

" more than worth my dear husband. This was the most amazing moment of my life and am glad to have you as my husband" she smiled proudly.

" there are many more good moments coming your way my love i promise you that." Joe kissed her with a smile.

Sali felt that goodness inside her, her heart knew she was home finally. Whatever lay ahead of her was to be good. And she knew even in hard times, Joe would be there besides her. She smiled as she moved her head and lay closer to his face his soft breath as she slept warming her face.

" i love you Joe." She whispered

" i love you more my wife" he smiled in his sleep wrapping his arms around her.

Months later...

Thandi stood by the window watching some vehicles pass in the road down. She had just finished signing in the biggest contract with a an American company to become the black face to represent an African Business owned by the Americans. Now she had to think of taking part in the world black women contest which was to come up in a couple of months.

she was still standing there when she felt soft hands hold her from her back gently stroking her shoulders.

" oh my God that feels so good!" She chuckled with a smile.

" mmmmm i told you, having me by your side here in South Africa was a good idea." Came the deep voice of Alex.

" i just hate the fact that you had to turn down that man' s case to be here with me babe" she frowned turning to face him.

" don't worry, other cases are lined up for me and i can choose whatever i want. Besides i don't like that man, why defend someone i know is not innocent after all just because he has money" He shrugged still rubbing Thandi's shoulders.

" wow, luck me right? I cant Imagine myself alone in a strange country. Having you here is more than thrilling" she said happily wrapping her hands around his neck.

" when are we going to tell everyone about our wedding coming next month?" He asked her.

" babe, who else is there to tell apart from a few friends and your family? We can call them tonight. After all i plan not to have a big event. Am okey with only a church blessing and a small party afterwards." She sighed pulling him to sit down on the bed and sitting on his laps facing him.

" Don't forget you are the one who attracts the media and they will definitely want it covered. Plus you know how Harold is he won't let it pass without making a story in his magazine. So my sweet babe, get used to being publised and change your mind set. We are going to have a blast wedding " Alex giggled.

" okey. As long as am marrying the man i love. Let it be whatever, big or small i don't mind. " she smiled looking into his eyes.

Thandi was happy too. Everyday that came by, she excelled in her work. She was a professional model and she even did home school completing her Secondary school. Alex helped her study some public administration course after they got married.

Now she had it all, the firm, the man who loved her and the money. She had become second in the world black women contest and her friends as always attended the function feeling proud of what she had achieved.

Mattie had given birth to a baby boy, a replica of Kelly. His deep eyes and round face always reminded her of him. She was so happy, seeing him grow everday made her feel the pride of being a mother.

Even though she missed Kelly at times, as years went by she felt much better. It is true what they say. When one dies it is trully painful but the Lord has a way of comforting us.

Mattie and Noah who kept following her around, grew close to each other. Two years later, she decided to give him a chance. He was not as charming as Kelly, but she learnt to love him.

He was a unique person with a strong vibrant personality that kept her smiling most of the times. His ability to interact and bond with he child made her see a father in him.

She had not yet agreed to marry him, but promised she would whenever she felt ready.

" i will wait for that day you will open your heart to have me as yours. For now we can continue living together, after all a marriage certificate is just a paper" he told her one day as they sat in a couch togther, the 2 years old Kelly playing with his toys.

Mattie had moved in with him after Thandi and Alex got married. She unlike Sali, who the husband stopped from doing the fish business and opened some boutique for her in town, got out of the business.

Mattie expanded it, she now had some 3 other branches opened in different locations and would run them remotely with hired workers as she decided to be a full time mother to her child.

Noah understood her, he always admired her charisma and her hard work. Even when he so much wanted to support her fully, she still did most of the things for herself.

Her step to move in with him gave him hope that one day, she would agree to marry him. Her eyes on him made him feel she love him and that was enough to hold on to. He felt her and baby Kelly where part of his life and it felt so good seeing them both so close to him.

" i fall in love with you Noah, i just need time to commit to a marriage " she whsiperd to him and he smiled.

" that's more than what i wanted to hear Mattie. Thats enough for me" he added seriously.

" Kelly is so taken up with catoons and toys, can i have his mother to myself now?" Noah whipsered in Mattie's ears.

" mmmmm sounds inviting, but someone needs to watch him right?" She pointed at the boy as Noah kissed her slightly.

" thats easy, the maid will check on him" he smiled back.

Pulling her up, he led her to his bedroom unbuttoning his shirt. Mattie smiled, seeing him so heated up and breathing heavily.

" well Doc, can you take it easy" she laughed as he pulled up her top.

" you purnish me by not making me your husband but this you will not run away from"

he chuckled narrowing his eyes and placing his face on her stomac tickling her she let a laugh.

Noah looked up at her face as he leaked her nipples and he smiled seeing her mouth pat with pleasure and her eyes closed.

" i think you love my body more than my person" she teased as he gently pushed her to lay down.

" i love all of you Matilda you have to believe me. Your body is an added advantage though" he responded kissing her almost every where.

" will you man up and do this, or you will keep on purnishing me?" She let a laugh pulling him up to her lips.

" mmmmmhmm am glad to hear the queen wanting my body too" he smiled looking into her eyes.

" do i make you happy?" He asked rubbing his hands in her inside thighs.

" ofcourse, who wouldnt feel happy with such creative hands working on them" she laughed making him slowly get himself in her.

Their connection was evident, Mattie knew she wouldnt deny she had failed to keep her promise never to love another man again.

In her mind she knew she had given herself to him and he made every moment of love making worth it. Being a doctor he somehow seemed knowledgeable about her body and he always made sure she was fully satisfied making it hard to resit his every touch.

She let a scream as she felt her body vibrate in his embrace and he breathed heavily smiling proudly he achieved his mission that evening.

" what more can i do for my beautiful house mate?" He teased still laying on top of her.

" you have paid all your dues Doc, you are the man" she smiled at him and he sighed shaking his head.

" are you always this funny?" He asked placing his palm in hers.

" mostly" she smiled
