We should be happy no doubt that they have been released, but there are pertinent questions begging for answers if we don't want to politicize it as you said. This is so that we can know where the mistake was made and how we can avert it next time.

1. Why did the Army Security mounted in that town all left hours before the abduction

2. Why did they not respond to distress calls from the locals (As confirmed by Amnesty Int'l report)?

3. Why were journalists prevented from entering the town this morning (as reported by Channel's reporter Jonathan)?

4. Why were the Soldiers asked not to attack the terrorists even on their way back after dropping off the girls?

5. What did it cost the government to secure their release?

We should be careful especially if we konw that there is more to this than meets the eyes, yet we go on defending just for POLITICS sake. These are humans, People's daughters, cousins, nieces, friends and acquaintances just as we are. It could be us

every body feels the high cost of items and services no doubt. not to mention the jobs lost but things are improving out there and we have some sense of stability now. but thats not to say it has made me stupid or hateful

i wish sometime in future you will realise how stupid and ignorant these questions you have just asked sound. not to say one should should believe everything these politicians dish out hook line sinker but at least be reasonable naa. let me indulge you a bit for the sake of others towing your line, has it ever occured to you that during war there are negotiations between warring parties and from time to time they agree cease fires. its not clear what govermnment traded for the girls release but you dont expect them to be entirely truthful with that part always. it could be money, supplies, freedom for some of their captured troops or even like they claim unconditional.
