Thanks a lot....I just checked the interview link..it said appointment not available at this time.

pls can I book for an interview date of june or july when it becomes available?

if you already have a soft copy of your admission letter, then apply for visa application. There seems to be no specific time for booking visa interview. I for one kept vigils around 12 midnight consecutively but saw none. I happen to get one around 10.30am afterwards.

I understand you are still battling with available financial options, but have faith in God for available supplies. Bros you need to be very alert as regards visa appointment. if you read through comments here, you will observe someone here said something about seeing interview dates at different times of the day. That is to say you need to search round the clock for an available date. Waiting for a June or July date as you earlier said might be counter productive cos the way and manner dates are being dished out, it might end up being a situation of HAD I KNOWN. To avoid having stories that touch, you just have to restrategize, probably you need to take a cue from lots of applicants who applied last year and couldn't get any date cos the consulate said they have been booked out for the year, with no further dates made available.

All the very best. Shalom.

Good morning HOUSE,

For me the journey started in 2016 when I ended my NYSC and I hoped to do my Masters abroad cos I didn't want to go through the same stress twice as I did during my undergraduate days in LAUTECH (also called LAUSTRESS).

I graduated from the department of Computer science in 2015 with a 2:1 grade and the miracle for me was I heard of Germany at the nick of time we were about having our POP.

I talked to Friends who had gone ahead of me in the journey, chatted people and make calls to both known and unknown.

In 2017 I got all my documents ready as I checked the criteria on the internet in order to apply to various schools. Admission was a challenge for me as I didn't want to apply through uni assist cos I didn't even have money to apply to schools. I did a good search on dada.de and opted for schools whose applications were free. The following schools accepted my applications in good faith..
Bonn university, TU Ilmenau, Heildschem, TU Darmstad e.t.c.

After my applications, I waited few months for admission as university of Bonn disappointed with a rejection letter. But as God will have it I was compensated the following week by TU Ilmenau. Admission letter came in and it seemed to me like Germany here I come in 2017. Unknown to me I have to book for interview space ahead of time and before I could do that, every slot was taken I was left with no option than to think Summer 2018 here I come.

Months passed by as I mailed the school to please give me another admission letter so I can apply for summer semester but the school refused me and told me that I should use the one they gave to me that it covers for 4 semesters until summer 2019. I decided to follow their instructions and applied with that admission letter.

Fast forward to my interview date:04/01/2018, I appeared at the gate very early in order to avoid any WAHALA from MR. PAULINUS but as prepared as I was I had about 5 documents missing. I didn't know the witches in my father's house that made that happen. As He called us to arrange our documents, I noted the missing documents and I was scared I was going back home that day. In my mind, I was already concluding on Winter 2018. But I held on to God cos I know it will definitely be a miracle.

As I went in to meet the VO. the lady in room 1 saw my admission letter and told me sorry I can't go ahead with this interview cos my admission letter wasn't valid that it was for Winter 2017, I quickly chipped in that it was what the school asked me to use to apply that she should go on with the interview.

Like that wasn't enough, she noticed my missing documents and told me to either go out or she make a photocopy for me for a #1000 per copy biko... I only came with my visa application fee and I don't have anything left on me as I explained to her. She stood up in annoyance and came back with the photocopies. Then said in a low voice "I don't do this for people". I said to myself, 'This could only be God'.

She was tired and ready to get rid of me, she printed a paper full of interview questions and asked me to fill them as she went through my documents again. I hurriedly filled the questionnaire. She suddenly reached out for the paper and told me that was enough. The only question she asked me was tell me about Germany. She printed my receipt, collected my application fee, asked me to sign and that was the end if the interview.

Finally she asked me for my blocked account fund and I told her I would get it by the following week but inside of me I knew I didn't even have a Naira to fund my blocked account yet. But I really believe GOD WILL NOT START WHAT HE HASN'T FINISHED.

Another journey to funding my account began as I trusted God that money would come. Truly money came but it seemed like it was too late. I was expecting my documents back in my house but it didn't come and finally after 2 months of my interview I send the blocked account confirmation on 15/03/2018 and the long awaited A. M. dropped on19/03/2018.

I'm so grateful to God and everyone here on this platform for the support and stories you have all shared.

For those expecting A. M GOD wey do my own effortlessly go do una own too.

Thanks all

Thank you for this. It is so inspiring. It could only be God. Lautech dealt with me also but to God be the glory i'm now a prospective corp member. I graduated from the dept of URP........Go and succeed the Lord will be with you.

Goodmorning everyone,
I went through the requirements for obtaining student visa and I saw i2 signed declarations according to Section54 Paragraph2Nr.of the German Alien's Law. I'm not sure of what the document is but I attached a document to this write up please kindly tell me if that is form if not please tell me how to go about it.
Secondly, is it a must to go with a motivation letter?
My third question is that can I go for the interview when my money is yet to be completed or if I transfer the amount I have and I print out the confirmation to present at the embassy.
4. Please must I pay the whole 8829euros Fintiba is requesting or can I just pay the normal 8640euros?
Thank you for your swift and candid response.

Good morning guys. Please I need clarification on this.

Is it a must to go with Transcripts while going for the Interview?

And if it is a must, since the school won't hand over official transcript to me. Can I send it to the embassy and tell the V.O that I have sent the transcript to them?.

Has anybody done this before and it worked?

Or is it a must I look for a way to get the official transcript in my hand?

Good Morning House,

Interview Date: 20/03/2018
AM: 23/03/2018

I want to thank everyone on this thread for their help , it was truly a blessing for me.
Quick Story: I studied Computer Technology and graduated with 2:1 CGPA of 3.76 and GRE score of 311. I began to search for public German schools for my masters but I couldn’t find any because most of them are consecutive ( meaning if I studied Computer science for my BSC , I can gain admission only around the field of natural sciences) but I wanted to study management. I began to apply to TUM because they have a joint course with HEC which is the best business school in Europe (in my opinion) but that also didn’t work out for a lot of reasons.
With no money in my bank account I began to apply to top private schools in Germany, ESMT, EBS, IUBH, SRH and I gained admission in all but because I couldn’t afford it I decided to go for ESMT because they have a loan financing program for up to 7 years after school and it also applies for Nigerians. I also applied for a Women in Business 50% scholarship but I was rejected for that. TO THE GLORY OF GOD, I got a mail saying that they are considering me for a better scholarship (100%). The Kofi Annan Scholarship, few days later I got an email that I was accepted.
( I didn’t apply for the KA scholarship initially because I didn’t have GMAT which was a requirement, I guess they used my GRE in its stead )

So when I went for my visa interview, they asked me only 1 question “Have you funded your blocked account” I said No because I got a scholarship offer. That was the end of my interview. My passport was collected. I didn’t pay Visa fee. She just told me congratulations and she was amazed , saying how did you get this scholarship.

Today I received the AM mail for travel Insurance.

Moral of this story is : Don’t bash private schools, not everyone is going there because they have 2:2 , also private schools have less competitive scholarships , some of them partial some of them full. The school is paying for my flight, monthly allowances , everything. German Public schools are great but the private ones are equally as good. So expand your search to private schools and application is free for some of them , it’s onlu IUBH that I paid, all others were free application.

God Bless you all tremendously

God Bless you all tremendously

but if you get accepted you get to pay tuition if you are not on scholarship right?

Got my AM today. Interview date was 01.02.2018.

It was delayed because the SL I submitted was for wrong purpose of stay. It took my sponsor another 3 weeks to book an appointment and get a new one. Plus I had to submit the new one to the embassy in hard copy. So anyone who plans to use SL should make absolutely sure that it's issued for the correct purpose of stay.

To those who for one reason or the other cannot make it to Germany this semester, It's okay. All hope it not lost. Happened to me as well last winter. I felt a bit sad but I dusted my shoulders and decided to try for this semester. I also utilized the time I had very well and I have absolutely no regrets that I stayed back the extra 8 months. In essence, if you can't make it this semester, try for next semester. All will be well by His grace.
