I scored 283 in jamb, and I wanna study Medicine in ABSU, how possible is it, or should I change my course?

Since its a competitive course, and people say ABSU is too Indigenous... Am considering a change of school.

Your score is great if you are from Abia state that is a plus.Try harder for your post utme and read with understanding.As long as you have all your papers from your o'level.You are good to go Congratulations on your utme.

This one you are talking of the university been too indigenous means you are not from the state...
It either you have the course changed or you look for connections!!! That's the surest way out...

283 can't take you anywhere close to medicine, pls try another course

D sooner all of U realised dat ur JAMB score doesn't guarantee U anything in any skool except private ones d beta for U... There is still d post UTME and skool screening ahead.

Just score high in post utme, you will get it.

ABSU! Is that one a university too? 200 should get you in sef.

Of course you can get medicine... Just go along with your doctors report. Most university pharmacy don't sell drugs to people without their doctors report.





But if you seek admission, just do your best in their post-Utme and have your money in your pocket along with connection with the right people. That school is fvcking corrupt... So long you have your money, you will get anything.

It's a very good score. It now depends on your O'Level qualification.Mske sure your people also know alot of people who could make or mar your "destiny as a Dokita".That's what Nigeria does to people. Your interest lies here,but they give you something there. If your parents can afford a TOEFL or IELTS, coupled with money for flight and initial accommodation and feeding before you start hustling ,then go for Ukraine.. Medicine is free.

Don't be discouraged.
From what I saw this year, most candidates didn't perform well in the exams. No Post UTME is even an advantage to you.

Yes, with even 200 alone you can get paracetamol, tramadol and even vitamin C. All na medicine.

We should all know that medicine is not the best/easiest money making course.

I have a friend that scored 310 and did not get medicine in unilag when people with 230 are trooping in.
