 Total FAAC allocation,N1.74 trillion. Total External Debts,$4.08 billion(about N1.24 trillion) Total domestic debt,N3.25 trillion NBS report, released on Friday, indicated that the IGR realised by the states was N100.04bn higher,compared to N831.19bn generated in the preceding year. This figure indicates a growth of 12.03% year on year. 31 States recorded growth in IGR in the year under review, whilst five (5) states including (Akwa Ibom , Anambra , Bauchi, Osun and Taraba) recorded a decline at the end of 2017 Fiscal Year. The net FAAC allocation in year 2017 is put at N1.73 trillion while the total revenue available to the states is put at N2.67 trillion. The total Internally Generated Revenue (IGR),by all the 36 states of the federation,amounted to N931.23billion in 2017 fiscal year,with Lagos accounting for 36%. Total external debt amounted to N1.24trillion in Naira terms($4.8billion @ 305,official rate) and when added to the total domestic debt stock of N 3.25 trillion,it implies a total debt stock of N4.49 trillion. https://www.financialdigest.com.ng/ 1 Like |

Anamra1stson, globemoney, how did Anambra state domestic debt rise from 3 billion naira to 117 billion naira and foreign debt from $25M to $78M ? I don't want to believe that this figures are true. |

Anambra pays salary without fail on the 25th, has one of the most sustainable finances in the country with visible achievements in many socio economic sectors especially education, and poverty rate. Ogun state with the IGR of California can't pay salaries as at when due, cannot be compared to anambra in most social indices that affect the ordinary masses. |
