Troops deployed in Exercise AYEM AKPATUMA on 24 March 2018 arrested some suspected criminals at Takum, Taraba State. One of the suspects, Rapheal Yakwa was arrested while taking unauthorized and suspicious photographs in a military event.

During the preliminary investigation it was revealed that he was among some youths been sponsored by certain individuals of Taraba State to cause uprisings in the area. He has also confessed to have participated in most nefarious activities of a group, this was further proven by series of media content discovered on his mobile phone.

His confession has led to the arrest of another suspect, Mr Irambariye Mamman who is said to be the youth leader as well as the leader of the group. Also apprehended is one Mr Micah Audu who also confessed to be member of the gang.

Yesterday, TY danjuma raised alarm that Fulani herdsmen, military, police and the govt are working together, to wipe out some ethnic groups, and that his pple should defend themselves, our govt are already planning to accuse danjuma of arming criminals.

What makes me fear is that the military that is supposed to be a neutral entity is siding a section and not just any section but the terrorist ones for that matter.

If only they know what powerful they wield if they stay neutral but, alas! they have reduced themselves to a mere tool in the hands of a few politicians.

Only an ignorant eagle would play and eat with birds and that's what the military has become.

If the military is neutral, politicians would have been afraid of a takeover like Zimbabwe and by now they would have been performing better than this.
