BlowBack:

BH is the world's most deadly Terrorist organization

Fulani Militia who the govt terms mere criminals are globally recognized as the 4th most dangerous terror organization

The Nigerian army is ranked 5th worst military in the world citing training, equipment and discipline plus their piled up gross human right's abuse.

The country is truly a shithole
All hail the heardsman in chief buharideen for his tireless effort in bringing us down to this level..we give kudos to the northern illrtrates who voted him and special thanks to the afonjas for shoving him down out throats.

Locally, nationally as well as internationally PMB is disgracing Nigeria back to back by making fool of the army...
Eg boko haram bandits came adopted over a hundred girls, decided to return them after a month, they drove through to and fro without any interception from the Nigeria military, what a disgrace?

No, YOU are a disgrace, with your mosquito brain. You want ''interception'' by the Nigerian military of the terrorists, as they hold 100 female hostages? Do you realise how risky such an ''interception'' would be for the girls? Ode. Why do I even bother with you thoughtless little kids on nairaland that think you know it all, while you know nothing. Only good to criticise with your big mouths.

''Electricity and clean water for everyone'' are NOT ''common''.

Only 20% of nations on earth are able to provide that to all of their citiizens.

The problem with you people is that you think everywhere outside Nigeria is like Switzerland or Japan (which is why many of you end up as slaves in Libya).

Majority of countries on earth are developing countries facing the same problems as Nigeria. Countries like Peru, Sri Lanka, Venezuela, Nepal, Burma, Bolivia, Chad, Honduras, Mali, Senegal, Libya, India, Mexico, Bangladesh, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Uganda, Madagascar, etc.

NOT UK, USA, France, Germany etc. Those are the MINORITY.

Also, you need to use your brain when reading stuff online.

Rather than swallow anything any fool posts online as the gospel truth, you should ask ''What criteria did this man use in drawing up this list''? By his criteria, we can equally say the USA is the worst army in the world. They've been fighting ragtag rebels in Afghanistan for over 15 years and still cannot win. They've been fighting ragtag rebels in Iraq since 2003 and still cannot win. They fought a ragtag Vietnam army and yet lost 50,000 soldiers, and lost the war... All these despite their trillion dollar defence budget. Anyone can draw up a list of countries they hate and label them ''the worst'' using any parameters they choose.
Nigeria is more than 55 year old,it's it a crime for us to be part of this 20% nations on earth enjoying stable electricity and clean water?

Useless idiots. How are you underequipped? You're fighting against a ragtag 'BLOODY CIVILIAN' group and yet you're complaining about being underequipped. Are you underequipped when you oppress unarmed civilians everyday in the streets?

The Nigerian army is the worst in the world that's the plain truth.

They are underequipped and unable to defeat them because the West and other African countries are no where around to help them like they did during Biafra.

I've never ever heard of a civilian group with weapons that niggeria army defeated without aid.

Even during Biafra war, it was reported that Niggeria had more military casualities than Biafra yet this was an army that rarely had weapons and the soliders literally shared weapons yet that killed more Niggeria army than the army did them. No wonder the military went after their unarmed civilians.

The same with Niger delta militant. They repeatedly killed the ND protesters and boasted on it. When finally ND protesters turned militant, oya they stayed getting their ass whupped. An "army" that repeatedly keot getting their asses handed to them by a ragtag, untraines men that they have to pay them just to stop. Ironically enough, it's the same situation with BH.

Is it not funny, the only set they boast of defeating is ipob, an unarmed group. Pitiful

Weakling military. Extremely weak!!

Do you realise how risky it is for the generality of Nigerians security and wellbeing for the government to pay ransoms to terrorists?

55 years old is like a child, when talking about nations. The USA is 250 years old. UK, Germany, France, Italy etc, are all over 300 years old. China is over 500 years old.

To be part of that 20% is not an easy feat because you must overcome teething problems of nationhood first, which is especially difficult for African countries, which were cobbled together by foreigners who had other interests in mind and not African interests. While Nigeria does not necessarily need to wait for 200 years' time to develop, you definitely need to give her more time, and accept that she will most likely not be a developed or advanced nation in your lifetime. More likely in your great grandchildren's. Believe me, once you come to this acceptance, it makes your life a lot easier, and makes you less angry at the country.

Our biggest problem is unrealistic expectations. We assume that just because we have a lot of oil money, we should be an advanced country. It just doesn't work like that. Venezuela has a lot of oil money, but people there have to travel across the border to buy basic necessities like soap and toothpaste. Why? Political issues.

That is such a myopic assertion. The business of government is not run on petty sentiments. You don't jeopardise national security because of microscopic sentimental considerations.

You don't pay millions of euros ransoms to terrorists and expect them to use it to drink champagne and womanise. These monies would be used to procure even more sophisticated weapons and tools of destruction, recruit even more fighters, and expand their capacity to unleash terror on a greater number of Nigerians. Who would be worse off for it? Me and you.

how old is Indonesia,India,UAE and south Korea?

Why should we have to wait till we are 250 years old before we start enjoying the dividend of democracy?

All what you are saying is trash,do we have to wait till we are 250 years old before the government will crush Fulani herdsmen?

When did the cultural revolution take place in China?

Nigeria is a failed state, people in Benin republic and Togo are not even having it this bad

Sorry to burst your bubble bro, but Nigeria is richer than all the countries u listed above. Which nonsense sacrifice?

Do they not get paid for the job?

Do they not collect the promotions and attendant perks it comes with?

Do they not know what it entailed before signing up?

Can they choose to quit & work other jobs elsewhere like regular people?

Abeg, miss me with that 'sacrifice'. It is a job like every other, to make economic ends. Stop sounding 'ignant' with that sacrifice BS.

The Nigeria army and the police are filled with frustrated and jobless people who couldn't compete with their peers in the labour market but had to grudgingly put on the uniform as a last resort to survive hunger.

It is filled with nincompoops, urchins, touts, failures and social deviants.
True, many of them joined to escape unemployment.
