Seems Rhor is playing a "let them have possession game". In both games from the get go we surrendered possession to the opponents. If we played a proper attacking game, we could have beaten Serbia.

Or ball possession in close contact was poor. I think due to the pitch and ball. Every pass whizzed into feet kept bobbling up. Serbia also struggled, but not as much as we did.

And we missed Mikels calmness in the middle, and iheanachos ability to strike the ball properly from the edge of the box.

Even the typical strong defense was all over the place today.

This is just a friendly match but honestly Nigerian players are really not like before ... what ever happened to the black skillfull players we used to have? most of them play for money now or kind of racism?

Now if a black player goes to a club no matter his level of creativity they will push them to right back, defence or defensive midfielder. Apart from Keita, dembele and "Dele Ali", pogba (gradually going back) I don't know of any creative black player. Or am I wrong?

Nigeria wont go past the group stage in the WC. Croatia and Argentina will beat them. Don't know why some of you are having hope with these average set of footballers. Anyway, i wish them good luck at the mundial.

True, but Rohr has to take all these risks. He wants a strong first team and bench and he is trying different formations to see which one sticks well. That is the essense of friendly matches: to assess strength and weaknesses. Winning is just a bonus. Rohr is a good coach. Better we lose now than get to the World Cup and lose out in the group stage.

I'm happy we were beaten cos if we had won, we will think the team is good. After all that's the purpose of a friendly match to see the gaps before the world cup proper. It's like we tried out our second team from defence to attack. Even almighty Argentina are currently being beaten by Spain 4:1. so why will I vex!

Leon Balogun, Mikel, Iheanacho and Abdullahi shehu would have made a huge difference.
